Leah has always been a performer, but this once in a lifetime opportunity proved one of her best yet. In this video, we take you to McMurdo Station inside the legendary Gallagher's Pub. This 6 song set is played by the stations best and brightest laborers. From helicopter pilots to kitchen staff, this eclectic mix of individuals from across America have all spent at least 4 months on the frozen continent aiding in scientific research. The performance is a morale booster for the 900 workers who recently came off of the 14 day non stop vessel unloading. Everyone in Antarctica works tireless 60 hour weeks making opportunities like playing in a band difficult. But nonetheless, with community instruments, a little internet, and midnight practices, they were able to pull off the best concert of 2020.
