When Federer Returned To Tennis ✨ Roger Federer vs Dan Evans _ Doha 2021 Extended Highlights

Evans wasn't able to produce his best that day, came off the back of a win against Luka Pui the night before, and it was a quick turnaround for him. Well played, excellent from Evans and he's in this, as you say, stayed strong. It's well done, quality return. Federer shaking his head, not happy with the first volley. Oh, it's brilliant tennis from both men. Lovely, clean winner from Evans with the backhand, brings up break point. A bluff wasn't it? Suddenly coming forwards off, absolutely nothing there. Oh, that's brilliant from Evans. Oh, well this is quality tennis. Oh, a great view of the Evans winner. Oh yes, Federer guessing. No, that's on the line. Get out of here from that position. Well, I'll tell you what Nick, you know, we've all needed a pick-me-up after the year we've all had. Well played to save the break point from Evans. Brilliant control. The break belongs to Evans in set two. Oh, two classy technicians. Oh, it's so good again. I don't know about you, but I could sit and watch these two all day. Nothing to choose between them. Evans also looking for his first win against the so-called big four. Never played Djokovic. The lob. He got away with that. And Evans. Well, he looks wizardry. Oh, you're kidding me. Is this an XO we've just turned up to here, Nick Lester? Rodgers back with us and the Federer winning feeling returns. Beautiful backhand to break the brave resistance of Dan Evans. First match in 14 months. What a test for him. But the backhand on match point.
