Belgium vs. Morocco, Highlights World Cup 2022, Match #3 Group F

Morning everyone, Derek Ray and Ali Wagner with you from Al-Tumama for this, the second match of the day, approaching four o'clock in the afternoon local time here in Doha, with us against Canada, first time out Ali, and three changes made by Roberto Martinez. Yeah and one of them is with Mounier coming back in now that he's fit enough, he gets his start, not typically a centre-back, we'll see how that plays out. For Waleed Raghragi, that's a bit of a surprise, there was speculation Mazraoui would be out, he picked up a knock in that opening match, but he retains his place alongside the leader in the back line, Romain Saiz. And it's a good spell from Morocco initially. Kimi and Ziyech do like to complain. And that low ball is gone. And the counter-attack could be on, Ziyech against Castagne to begin with, and Torgan Azar has joined in with the defending, but the referee takes a dim view of the challenge by Torgan Azar. Ziyech, left-footed, he is, it's good! And the referee is going to have a... Goal is checked as you know, but here we have semi-automatic offside technology which can determine whether a player is in and off. Well here is the verdict. Don't go offside. It's not going to count. They want to line something up, Ziyech and with his preferred... Saiz, De Bruyne, Batrahi, that was clever. Eden Azar takes the outside road, Eden Azar! That's just how quickly Belgium can transition to new attack. That's love, that sort of pass. A long left-footed pass. Bufal getting into that shooting position for Morocco. Wasn't closed down well enough, Sofiane Bufal. No, it wasn't, and it wasn't on the initial service as well. Just easy change of point for Morocco, get over to that far side and Bufal loves to... They lock it around again. Azzedine Unahi passing with it. Bufal is judging it. Thomas Meunier, the substitute is over there. Yahia Atiyah, Alaa. Going to make two more changes shortly, not just yet. Free kick first for Morocco and that has touched... Merton's winnings. It was headed on by Jan Vertonghen. It's outswinger for Vertonghen. He just gets the edge on Eger. Eger was not happy by the way. Scream at the referee. Morocco looking for that second goal that might finish things. Ziyech to pull it back.
