Hello, hello, hello everyone.
Happy Friday.
What are you guys up to?
Let me know what you've got going on
in your neck of the woods.
Y'all, we are having like a moment here.
Mainly because I'm mic'd up
and I forgot to turn on my light.
So I only have one light on.
So we're gonna let the natural light
come together and bring us in.
But hello my friends.
Welcome to my at home studio.
You're at my home today.
We are gonna have a coffee
and we are going to craft today.
Because today is falloween.
Yay, falloween.
This is super, super exciting.
And we absolutely love, love, love
getting to hang out with you all.
So as you all are tuning in,
share with us where you're visiting from.
Let us know what you've got going on
in your neck of the woods.
It is this time of year.
It is probably, I love any time the seasons change.
So the seasons are changing.
The weather's changing.
It's shifting.
It's so good.
This morning I feel like I've been on a mission.
I got the kids to school.
I went and worked out.
I got a haircut.
Got coffee.
Made breakfast.
Fed babies.
And now we're here.
So, so good to be here.
Happy noon here on the East Coast.
It's nine a.m. over on the Pacific Coast.
And to all our friends on the West Coast,
guys, it's gonna be a great day.
We're three hours ahead of you.
I can tell you that.
So that's super, super exciting.
Hey, Brenda, Elise, Sherry, Stephanie,
Brenda, Erica, Robin, Auntie Nikki.
Hey, I love it.
Well, guys, Sherry, just let me know.
I signed up for the 30 days to sell.
Y'all, Tuesday at 7 p.m. Eastern, it's go time.
It is go time.
We are training.
We are teaching.
We are equipping you all to start selling
before this holiday season gets here.
It's gonna be incredible.
And I can't wait to do it with you.
So if you don't have a ticket, it's $27.
Go grab your ticket.
It'll be super, super exciting.
And we will have a lot of fun to do it.
Brenda, need to find time to work out.
How do you do it, Tanner?
Okay, Brenda, here's my story.
I used to go work out at the gym just on my own.
And I was like, I would leave an hour later
feeling like I did nothing,
because I knew nothing.
So then I was like, okay,
maybe I'll get a personal trainer.
So I did that for a few months, not impressed.
So then I found a class.
I found a CrossFit class,
which was very dainty and scary,
because they use free weights and barbells
and things like that.
But that was in 2018, I think.
And I just started going for it.
I'm blessed to be self-employed,
so I can have that little bit more flexibility
to pick a time.
But a lot of people that go there
have full-time jobs,
and they're able to do it.
So no matter where you're at,
the class really helped me,
because I was able to get personal coaching.
I got personal coaching without having to pay for it.
Does that make sense?
So that's the power of CrossFit
and the community there.
My first four months,
I think I lost 20 pounds.
I found some of that.
It goes back and forth.
So anyway, you'll love working out.
I really believe that working out and crafting
is just part of our self-care,
and it's amazing.
So yay, yes, everybody move to Tennessee.
We love it here.
We love it, love it.
Aw, hello, my friends.
Yes, so it is four,
it's at 7 p.m. Eastern,
the training on Tuesday.
And that on the West Coast would be four,
five, six, seven.
It would be four Pacific.
It would be six Central and five Mountain.
Aw, the customer service at Maker's Glen is wonderful.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Y'all, we love it.
We love what we get to do here.
And we get to chat on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
I get to chat with my entire team.
We come together.
We talk about projects.
And I will tell you,
everyone on the team loves what they get to do, too.
So yeah, I love it.
Brenda, definitely check it out.
And if you have any questions, message me.
It's not scary.
It's so much fun.
No matter if you've been doing CrossFit for eight years
or you start today,
the workout will be good for you.
You'll learn a lot of new things.
It's really fun.
And if you can craft, you can totally do CrossFit.
They go together, so it's awesome.
You're gonna take the class for a second time, yay!
If you have already taken the class one time,
I just wanna encourage you to take it again.
Let me know what you would like to learn.
I'll try to help you and make sure that happens.
It'll be awesome.
If you went through the training last year,
and I don't mean to call anyone out.
If you went through the training last year,
but you did not execute, okay?
If you did not execute,
come to the live training class again
because you're getting another Facebook group.
It's another opportunity, and it's only $27.
Y'all, that's like just, like, it's super affordable.
It'll definitely be worth it to you to invest in yourself.
And you may say, Tanner, I have a recording of last year.
Why would I come back?
Y'all, the live class is so, so good.
It'll be awesome.
I paid for the class.
How do we get our ticket?
Connie, if you don't have information
on the Facebook group workbook course,
log into the website, makersgonnalearn.com,
go to My Courses, and you should see it there.
If you don't see it there,
email hi at makersgonnalearn.com.
Our son lives in Jefferson City.
Okay, I'm like 10 minutes to Jefferson City, y'all.
Like, we live out in the boonies.
So it's also, it's a lot of fun.
So yay, all right.
Well, today's project, y'all, is so good.
And spoiler alert, we have a lot of it prepped.
So it's gonna be great.
This is it.
It's a reversible pillow.
So this is one side.
So this is like the fall.
Like, I can put out some fall decor on my bench.
I can put it on the front porch.
And then, you know, there's times
when you're like, ugh, it's two weeks before Halloween.
What can I do to spook it up?
Boom, you can spook it up with this.
Isn't this not so fun?
I love, love, love this.
This is so, so fun.
So yeah, this is really fun.
Your supplies are minimal today.
So the supplies are minimal, minimal.
It's gonna be a lot of fun.
I have everything pretty much laid out.
So we'll go overhead here in a second.
Remember, you're at home with me today.
So just give me grace that we're not cutting a bunch
or weeding a bunch live.
You all know I normally love to do that,
but we're not doing that today.
So here's what we are gonna do.
Here's what we got overhead.
Today's supplies, you will need for the pillow I've bought.
You're gonna need a 12 by 24 mat.
So you can see this is a pretty large image to put down.
It's not hard at all.
You'll be able to rock it.
Here's the pillow that we're using.
This is just a basically yours
creatively crafted pillow cover, 12 inches by 20,
12 inches by 20.
So that's awesome.
This is canvas, so you could dye this.
You could do whatever you want to it.
We used our material just to cut this out,
print and cut it.
This is the D, we're using the DTV today.
So this is the DTV.
You can use printable, you can use printable iron-on,
whatever you want, okay, whichever you want.
So love that.
Oh my gosh, yes, Carol.
If you already have,
I know everybody's got these in their craft stash.
Pull one out, do this with me and have fun with me.
I am on, we do not have a nanny on Fridays.
So today me, Courtney and Lauren
are working here at the house,
hanging out with the babies
and Courtney's like cleaning the playroom
and I was feeding the babies.
I was giving them all of the baby food.
So this is EasyColor DTV.
So hold on, let me pull it over here.
This isn't the studio, y'all.
This is my home studio.
This is EasyColor DTV sent to us
from our dear friends at Caesar.
Thanks, guys.
We love this stuff, it's really good.
This is different than DTF.
All right, y'all, DTV, no powder needed.
This is no powder.
DTF uses powder.
Watch Lauren's videos
because they're mad scientists, not me.
And it's super fun.
So yeah, DTV, you get to use it
kind of like you would printable heat transfer vinyl,
but it's better, it's better.
So yay, awesome, awesome, love it.
Love the ability to use the pillow
for an extended period of time.
Honestly, let's say you're not into Halloween.
I would do fall market
and then I would do on the other side
just like a Christmas one.
So take this inspiration, work with it,
make something awesome, and it's super, super fun
and it's incredible.
So let's take a look at the share screen today.
If you're not already a member of makersgonnalearn.com,
you can become a member today for an exceptional price.
All right, it is like, you can be a member today,
a year member for $30 off using the coupon code FALL.
So just use the coupon code FALL, F-A-L-L
on that year membership.
If we go over here, let's take a look.
Do, do, do, do, do.
You can grab your membership, it's so good.
I do need to download a font today.
So I was like, you know what?
We'll do it together.
We will do it together.
Our fall pillowcase is from Hobby Lobby.
Y'all, I wanna show you,
I wanna show you one of my favorite fonts
and it's called Albuquerque.
Albuquerque is like a real deal.
Okay, this is one of my favorite, favorite fonts.
And if you're a member, you can actually try the font out
and make sure it's what you want.
So this right here is super fun.
You could type out, you know, we're putting apples on here.
So in the test your font area,
you can see, you can test that out,
which is super fun.
So we're just gonna click download now
and then it'll pop up in a zip file.
Oh, Carol says, making myself not buy DTV
until all the printable vinyl I have.
Hey, that's awesome.
Use it up.
You will love this new product when you get it.
So we're just opening that font and we're gonna install it.
Guys, super simple.
You guys get over a thousand fonts in the membership.
So download Albuquerque.
You'll be able to use it and it's super, super fun.
So yay, love it, love it, love it, love it.
And it's awesome.
So that's what we needed.
Now, if you go over here to design space,
let's close out this and hop over to design space.
You can see that we have quite a few different things.
Lots of, looks like some of it's not loaded or so much.
I'm trying to see where we're at.
So here we go.
This is our first one and this is our second one.
So these are some fonts from Maker's Gonna Learn
like Albuquerque.
If we go over to the website again
and go over to cut files, let's go over here.
And yes, we did purchase the pillow cover at Hobby Lobby.
Are fonts usable for selling crafts
without violating copyrights?
So Robin, if you're a member, you get a commercial license.
So if you're an active member,
you get that commercial license.
So let's search for fall market and you'll see that.
So you can see here's our design.
So this is what we're using today.
It already has the pumpkins, the apples,
the mums, the gourds.
All of this is here on the cut file.
You can download this, upload it,
and you'll see you don't even need the Albuquerque font.
I wanted to show you that Albuquerque
is the font that is used here.
In case you are like, oh my goodness,
I need to change this out.
You can go ahead and change that out for Albuquerque.
So this is the two designs and what I wanna show you all,
so remember, here's our design that we downloaded
and brought into Cricut.
All we did to get our skeleton in the same little area,
we took this fall market and we duplicated it
and then we were able to go ahead and go to contour
and we just contoured out all of these layers
just to give it just that outline, which is really handy.
So if you've never used contour,
I mean, y'all are missing out.
It's so helpful.
It's so easy to use and you guys just go through
super easily, hide all these layers.
Look at this.
I love it.
Have you guys been loving following?
We have been having a blast in office with this.
Tom, over the weekend, you all are gonna see
some incredible, incredible videos,
so just get ready for that.
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
All right, let's see what happens here.
Oops, oh no, I brought it all back.
Oh my goodness, look at me.
I clicked hide all contour, then I said,
I did the other button, so look at that.
Well, you guys got to see how we did that.
Just contour out all of that
and then you would bring in your skeleton cut files.
So if we go over here and we go to cut files
and you can search for the skeleton.
What we're using, I'll show you here in a second.
One moment, if I can spell, did not spell that.
Do, do, do, do, do, let me correct that.
So this is skeleton.
This is kind of how I work.
I go from our website to design space quite a bit
and it's really helpful.
So you can see we have the laying skeleton.
This is a little dance called dabbing.
This is what Lauren used on a screen printing video.
So fun.
So you can see lots of skeleton options.
And then here you have our fall market.
So I'm gonna delete this one out.
Now that you see how we kind of set these two up,
I do want to let you all know we measured our pillowcase
and it's 12 by 20.
So what we did was we were able to do 18 by 10.5.
So 18 by 10.5.
So it's pretty big.
It's quite a bit on there and it's super fun.
Lauren says her favorite way to do this.
Thank you, Lauren.
You can go to shapes and this is so fun.
You can take a square.
This was a rounded square.
You can unlock it and then what you'll be able to do
is just cover this up over our area
and then right here, look at this.
Take these two layers
and we're gonna do something called slice.
So click slice and look what happens, y'all.
This is crazy.
Boom, we can pull this out.
Ta-da.
And then here is the fall market
which I totally just used the one that we're using today.
But yes, you all can see we could take that and whatnot.
So yeah, super easy
if you want to be able to do that really quickly.
That is awesome.
I should have duplicated it
and not used the one we're going to use
for our next part in our project.
My mouse has completely stopped moving.
Do I need to plug it in?
Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.
We'll plug it in for a second
to see if that's what it needs.
Carol loves the new Cut Falls.
Oh my goodness, y'all, we love the new Cut Falls.
They are so much fun.
My screen has now, my mouse is now not moving.
Y'all know how fun is that.
My screen is not moving.
Do-do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do-do.
Y'all, the devil's playing with the church's money.
That's what's happening this Friday.
Please let me know what you're doing this weekend
while we have this beautiful, beautiful issue
with our little mouse.
I'm just going to plug it back in.
We'll come back to it here in a moment.
But since we have visuals,
what I was going to show you
is that we have a bunch of cut files that are really fun
and they're kind of water colored.
So what we did was with our fall market,
we added one of our water color files
and we made it a print and cut.
And when we did the print and cut,
we put it on the DTV.
So this is the DTV.
This is super fun.
And you guys can take a look here and see how great it is.
So yay, I love it.
Let's go overhead.
So we will be taking this water color file
from Maker's Gonna Learn and we used it on the DTV.
And look, look at this.
Look at this.
It looks so good.
Beautiful.
Okay.
So how many of us have never worked
with heat transfer vinyl today?
If you've never worked with heat transfer vinyl,
let me know in the comments.
We're using the Mini EasyPress to level two.
So we're gonna use level two.
Oh my goodness.
Some of us are going out of town.
Hey from Illinois.
Working different crafts this weekend.
Yay, you guys are so fun.
That's awesome.
I love it.
Okay.
Before I open up my pillow,
I really quickly just wanna make sure you all understand
how we use heat transfer vinyl.
Just in case, little refresher.
Connie says she's never used it.
So we're gonna help Connie out.
Connie, if you're not a member,
definitely consider membership
because we'll help you master your entire Cricut.
But this is what heat transfer vinyl is.
Oh my goodness, Pam, Nora.
There's a lot that's never used heat transfer vinyl
and Ty says it's her favorite.
So that's super fun.
So it comes with transfer tape.
You always put it shiny side down.
So this is the dull side and this is the shiny side.
So this is what you would put down on your mat to cut.
And then you would cut it
and these projects take quite a bit to weed.
So we pre-weeded it and cut it for you all today
to respect our time on the show at Halloween.
And then you peel it up and look at this.
This is your big old project
that we'll be able to put down first,
which is super exciting.
So that one you just measure,
you put, you cut it on the heat transfer vinyl settings
and so much like that.
I've had a lot of friends
that have asked me where I got this.
This is again from Hobby Lobby
and this is before the discount, y'all.
Such a good one.
Yay, Kay, almost a year in my membership
having got through half the fonts,
courses, nor the cut falls.
There is no rush, my friends.
We are here for you.
Take it in as you can.
And we love it.
So yes, this is so good.
So here's our little project pillow.
And I like to kind of just go through
and make sure we iron it out.
I want this to be flat.
You know, you just wanna iron it a little bit.
I love using the Mini EasyPress to iron.
They're great to have on hand.
This is one of my favorites.
So if you're new to the channel, let me know.
So if there's anyone that's new to Heat Transfer Vinyl,
you may be new to Makers Gonna Learn.
I'm the founder here at Makers Gonna Learn.
So just let us know if you're new.
I'd love to give you a warm welcome.
Our entire team is so excited to serve you
and I know your fellow makers here on the channel
are just thrilled that you're here.
So let us know.
I'm teaching a workshop on Tuesday
about selling your crafts.
I've linked it, but I'll drop that link again.
And if there's anybody that's like,
you know what, this weekend is my time for membership.
There's two awesome offers.
You can become a monthly member for half off
or you can grab a year membership for $30 off
and get a ticket to our Year Member Summit.
Oh, Robin's new.
Welcome, welcome, welcome, Miss Robin.
Do you prefer the MiniPress for HTV over the Heat Presses?
I do, Diane.
I use this a ton more.
It's way more affordable
and it's a lot easier in my opinion,
especially when I am at home and things like that.
So look at this.
We can line this up super quickly
and you can see the sizing was not hard at all,
at all, at all, at all.
And you can put this down here
and then we're just gonna start in one corner
and I'm using what's an EasyPress mat.
So this is an EasyPress mat.
They're recommended, they're not necessary,
but they do help if you're gonna use this
as your main device to heat set.
I'm not new, but I'm a new monthly member.
Yay, welcome, welcome, welcome.
Got your tickets, woo-hoo.
I'm a newbie, been watching while I wait for surgery.
Oh my goodness, rest up, Connie.
Not a member, but love everything you do.
Tracy, thank you so much, thank you.
The skeleton fall is awesome, Christina, isn't it?
Look at this.
So yeah, using the mini EasyPress is like,
our entire team has been in love with this thing
since we got it.
And we originally was like, why do we need this?
And then we got it and we're like, okay, we're sold.
Pillow covers from Hobby Lobby.
Y'all, if anybody could sponsor me,
aside from Cricut, I would say Hobby Lobby should be it.
Love it, we use it so much.
I use my mini all the time, I've even ironed with it.
Y'all, it's an amazing iron.
I pull these out all the time.
Curtains with those big EasyPresses, yes please.
Good morning, Beth, happy Friday.
Okay, so we're just pressing away, getting in this corner.
So this is it.
I mean, it's not hard at all to use the heat press
or the mini EasyPress or any presses.
What will happen for our newbies using heat transfer vinyl,
it becomes some bubbles.
And you can see the bubbles just kind of let you know
that it's infused into the fabric
so that when you peel the sticky transfer sheet off,
it has adhered to the fabric.
Whoops, peeled that off a little too fast.
Oh no, oh no, got a little excited.
If you don't pull it as fast as I did,
you're usually able to, like this area is not down,
so then I can take it and go like one, two, three, four,
let that cool for a second, let that cool for a second.
Help this little area out and then peel again.
And see, look, this area right there is perfect.
Look at that.
Lost a collarbone, literally lost a collarbone.
Yolanda, you totally can use whatever heat press you have.
Do not feel pressured to use one.
What we can do too is flatten this back out.
Sometimes I like to grab another tool or something
and look, we're gonna flatten that back out.
Look at that, just flatten it out a little bit.
And then what we're gonna do is grab a piece of this
and we're gonna place it back down.
So we're gonna place it down
and we're gonna grab the EasyPress again.
And look, we can fix any imperfection here,
no big deal at all.
That did have to hurt.
Stacey, I'm happy I just joined.
Yay, Stacey, welcome, welcome.
We're so excited for you.
It's so good that you're here.
Love it, love it, love it.
All right, look at that.
Got this little area here that needs to be down.
Beautiful, okay.
So we were able to repair that.
I sometimes craft a little too fast,
which sometimes hurts you, I'll be honest.
Slow and steady is the best way to do it.
So now what I want to encourage you to do is to,
well, first of all,
I love that the pillow insert is on this side.
So it's not on the bottom, so it can be either way.
So now what we're gonna do is flip it just like this
and iron it again, and we're gonna do the other side.
So it's really easy to make these reversible pillows.
If you guys have never thought
about doing a reversible pillow,
I highly, highly want to encourage you to try it out.
It is super fun.
Can you use HTV on any type of pillowcase,
or is there a type of fabric you suggest?
What I recommend is for a lot of our friends
to use at least something with like 30 to 40% cotton.
Cotton does really well on HTV.
There's other special HTV for more flexible material
and things like that, so it's super fun.
Diane Lauren is actually here working,
and then Alicia doesn't work on Fridays,
so she has a baby herself.
So she spends that day with her baby.
So here we go.
Here is our fall market,
and we're just gonna place that down.
I love this grid.
I love this grid outline.
So much fun, and you can lay this down.
It lines up really well and things.
So it looks like this,
it can go further up in this one side.
So beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Okay, look at that.
Oh, I make reversible door hangers.
Yes, they're so fun, and I think for storage,
like you said, it's very handy.
So look, so this is where the DTV will go
after we do the heat transfer.
So get excited for that.
Yay, awesome.
So we're just gonna repeat this process.
This is not hard at all.
Look at this.
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
I love it.
It's looking so good.
Let us know if you all have any questions
regarding like the HTV
or any part of this process, honestly.
I'm just slowly going through.
I love to see the bubbles.
So if we're talking a little bit more about Tanner,
what do you love about this mini EasyPress?
This canvas, this is canvas.
So this is a canvas pillowcase.
So this is such a hot like press because it's so small.
So it doesn't lose heat.
It can keep its heat really, really well.
So it can keep its heat really, really well,
which I really like.
Albuquerque is the font we use on these little words.
And I agree, it is incredible.
And yes, working with HTV is a blast.
Some of my favorite.
Yes, yay.
I hope this encourages you all to try it this weekend
because this is a really great one to make.
Is there an easy way to tell
if it should be warm pill or cold pill?
So Tracy, the more that you craft with it,
the more you'll know, number one.
Number two, we have a guide in our library.
If you're a member, go to the member resource library,
get your Cricut reference guide.
It is so good to have on hand if you're a member.
Do you buy your hand press from Amazon?
I buy my heat presses from Amazon.
I have all sorts of heat presses.
Great question.
My favorite is one from 143 Vinyl, I do have to say.
Okay, so I got a few areas and I'm like, you know what?
That's not down, like that needs to be down.
Just look around, see how it all looks.
See if it's staying down.
Like this right here, I'm like, is it down?
And it doesn't look like it's down.
So we're gonna heat this really well.
Beautiful.
Michael's has a mini easy press sale this week.
Yay, get your mini, we love it.
Look at this, so here's a great example.
Some of these tiny letters need some extra love.
So we can just slowly go over them, extra heat.
Love that guide, print it and have it handy.
Yes, it is so good.
We're gonna be doing a new updated one soon.
So get excited, we're updating a lot of our programs.
So you all that are in any of our programs,
you're gonna see refreshes.
If you're in maker's gonna sublimate,
design make sell, any of those.
Look at this, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Look at that, yay.
I watched a video yesterday where Tanner taught me
to use the custom settings on my Explorer 2.
So I don't forget to change the dial.
Y'all, it's so good.
Okay, Kathy, I have not opened that machine yet.
I need to do it.
My schedule has just been crazy, crazy, crazy.
Okay, so look, we're peeling back this.
You can use transfer tape on this if you want.
You don't have to, but you can.
What I'm going to do is position it here.
And then this is what we used is called EasyColor DTV,
EasyColor DTV.
Tanner, do these wash up good being on canvas?
They do wash pretty well.
I haven't had any issues, but I don't wash a ton of them.
Do you think infusible ink sheets
will work with this cut fall?
It would be really hard to weed that.
I just want you to think about the weeding
and infusible ink sheets are pretty,
they kind of have a mind of their own.
I'm not going to lie.
They kind of have a mind of its own.
So you just want to be careful with that, okay?
So here's what we're going to do.
I haven't seen this used without a transfer sheet.
So I want to let you all know like what it would do.
So see, I just stuck that there
and it kind of looks a little like
it's going to not do well.
So what I'm going to do here is grab a piece of transfer tape
and I really want to use a little sheet.
Here's my Cricut, here we go.
Here's what I'm looking for.
This is perfect.
So this is a great to have on hand.
You don't have to have one of these on hand,
but they're great for when you're applying things like this.
So if anyone can remember what these are called,
please drop it in the comments.
I'm losing my mind on the name.
Love it.
Love it, love it, love it.
What are these called y'all?
These are, it's a sheet.
What is this?
What is this sheet called?
Oh my goodness, you guys, I'm losing my mind.
What is this sheet called?
I love having this here.
I keep this on hand because if you are not using something,
it's a Teflon sheet.
Thank you all, I'm losing my marbles y'all.
The Teflon sheet, Teflon, yes, we love the Teflon, Teflon.
So good, Teflon is great.
Cricut may not have them anymore,
but listen, 143 does.
I mean, there's so many companies
that have them for you all.
So just grab you a Teflon.
They're cheaper if you do not use one from Cricut.
They don't have to be name brand.
And Cricut just came out with a hot glue gun.
What do we think about that?
Are we here for it?
Do we wanna see it?
I want to test it for you all.
Ooh, look at this.
We gotta get this area down here.
Teflon, thank you, Teflon sheets.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Okay, so I don't know either,
but have one serves the same purpose.
Yeah, they're great.
I used to, again, not think you needed them,
but as we work with more specialty material,
I find that they're really handy
and look at how great that went on.
I mean, guys, it's that simple
to be able to do a project like that.
Now we're having some questions about the Teflon sheet.
So the Teflon sheet can work.
Like if I had this letter down here
and I already threw away my transfer sheet,
you can pull out your Teflon.
Now I like to, when I'm laying my project down,
I like to keep this right here to the side
because you can redo this.
So if my F started coming up,
I could lay that back down and press it again.
This is really handy and it's great to use,
but for this, it was already printed.
I didn't feel comfortable
putting something sticky onto that.
So what we were able to do was pull out the Teflon sheet,
which can you all believe I had one on hand
in my craft room, like crazy, but they're great to have.
So there's Teflon.
You can grab it from all sorts of places
and it's really, really, really handy.
And look y'all, I now have my keyboard back.
My mouse is working again.
But yeah, super, super fun.
Here's the one side and then you can flip it over
and here's your skeleton side.
Look at that.
Now guys, we also want to let you all know
you can get the pillow insert at Hobby Lobby too.
So you can get these at Hobby Lobby too.
So that will work really well and it's really, really fun.
So what do you all think?
Is this like the printable transfer sheets?
So Erica, this is easy color DTV.
So let's just pull this out here.
This is where you can use it and it makes printing simple.
It's compatible with the wide variety
of printers, vinyl cutters.
So you can print and cut full color images,
patterns, and even photos.
And here's the back.
So look at this.
This is what it looks like.
It can be weeded, everything like that.
We have some videos on this from a few weeks back.
Go check that out.
But what I love is this cut file we paired it with
and this cut file is watercolor.
So you get the watercolor look
without having to watercolor,
which is my type of crafting, if you know what I'm saying.
So yay, I love it.
Love it, love it, love it.
What questions do we have?
Let me know.
Here's what it will look like
when you add your pillow, fall market,
your spooky, spooky skeleton.
These are so fun.
Again, you could do the same thing with Christmas and fall
or Christmas and Thanksgiving and all sorts of things.
So yay, take a good look.
Here's the skeleton side.
Here's the fall side.
This does use a lot of heat transfer vinyl.
I will say that.
It uses quite a bit of heat transfer vinyl
and it's super fun.
I don't have a mini iron, but have two press that work.
Yeah, you just need heat.
I don't want you all to ever think like,
oh, I have to use the mini or oh, I have to use a press.
No, you just need heat to activate that vinyl.
Whichever way you choose to do that is totally your own way.
So that's super fun.
Yay, oh my goodness.
Now guys, while I have you,
if you have not went ahead and grabbed a ticket
for the workshop on Tuesday, what are you waiting on?
Go grab it.
And if you haven't grabbed the fall sale,
today's a great day for membership.
So grab your year membership.
When you do go yearly, lower price,
use the coupon code fall for $30 off the already low price.
And you get a ticket to our summit,
which is happening October 1.
It's a Saturday.
Do you use pillow form or just stuff it?
We bought a pillow form from Hobby Lobby,
but you can just stuff it.
My favorite hack is to grab the cheaper pillows at Walmart
and just use that as stuffing.
It's a lot cheaper than buying stuffing
from Hobby Lobby, fun.
Yay, just signed up, woo-hoo.
Are your two older kiddos into Halloween this year?
They were last year and last night they were having
conversation of what they want to be this year.
Yay.
If you need help with anything we,
like any product you purchase from us,

the winner from yesterday.

Am I right, am I right?
Yes, yes, oh my goodness.
Let me find you yesterday's winner.
We keep it on a list.

Look at this, all right.
Y'all, from yesterday, do-do-do-do-do,
Jamie Joy won and the comment was,
I love decorating no-carve pumpkins.
This is a great idea.
So congratulations, Ms. Jamie Joy.
You won a $50 Amazon gift card.

That is super, super fun.
Y'all, this is a game that we play here at Makers Gonna Learn
when you all come to my house, right?
Like when you come over to my house,
we get to talk a little bit more intimate,
we're a little bit more personable.
So let's do what we've done a few times
and you all seem to love this game.
What would you like me to give away?
Just comment it right now, let me know.
I'll pick one thing and we will take a comment
from today all the way until Monday.
This will be announced on Monday's show.
So let me know what you'd like to win today
and as long as you comment by 10 a.m. on Monday,
you have the chance to win it.
But you have to comment now
and let me know what you would like me to give away
because I don't have my bucket,
my little pumpkin to draw from.
Yes, the pillow's so fun.
I love it, turned out great.
This was easy, this is not tricky at all and it's so fun.
The summit is going to be October 1st
from I believe 11 a.m. Eastern to 4 p.m. Eastern.
Okay.
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
Tracy says, I love this life, I'm obsessed with pillows
and it would be great for a space saver.
Yay.
All right, this is such a great idea.
All right, y'all, this is such a great idea.
You all are so smart.
We will be giving away a pack of EasyColor DTV
so that you all can use it too.
So we'll send you a pack that's not opened.
This is my pack.
See, it has my name on it, Tanner and team.
Thanks guys at Caesar for sending this over to us
by the way, and we'll give you all a pack of DTV
if you would like a pack, so just drop us a comment
and we will pick a winner Monday at 10 a.m. Eastern.
So just leave us a comment,
whether you're watching it live or recorded,
leave us a comment, we'll pick someone 10 a.m. Eastern.
Yay.
It is, it's an awesome product.
Like, do you guys see that?
Like, it's such a great product.
So good.
Bonds with your fabric.
Looks good, is good, and it's so fun.
Yay, there is now a Teflon sheet
on the Makers & Learn Amazon list.
Yay, thank you, Miss Carol.
You're awesome.
So, so fun.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
That is incredible.
Yay.
Okay, can we just shout out,
can we just shout out Carol real quick?
So Carol, let me name,
Carol, Megan, Beth, Carol, Megan, Beth, Debbie.
Am I missing anybody?
Megan, Carol, Beth, Debbie.
We have the Yatims.
So this is a program called Very Important Member,
and we absolutely love them.
So she, Carol commented, messaged our team,
and was like, hey, we should add a Teflon sheet
to the Amazon list, and our team already added it.
So Carol, thank you so much.
They have been serving our amazing community here
over a year.
Is that not crazy, y'all?
Over a year, and I think I saw Beth and Carol
on today's show, and I'm sure Megan's working real hard.
She was here yesterday.
So y'all, it is so sweet to have them,
and they're just so helpful,
and they love serving you all,
just like we do here as well.
Aaliyah, oh my goodness.
Aaliyah has been a little under the weather lately,
so she is taking some time to herself,
and not been able to be on the show.
Yes, Miss Aaliyah is amazing.
She is like, always works so hard for you all, too,
and they're so helpful.
They get to be in our member-only group,
and they're super, super fun.
So yes, we'll have to send,
you know what, Carol?
We'll have to send you all the VIMs some DTV.
That's what we'll, we'll have to send y'all some.
So I'll put all that together,
and our giveaway winner for Monday.
So that's incredible.
So yay, yay.
Thank you, thank you, thank you all.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
So much fun, and we love it.
So yay, love it.
So much fun.
But y'all, if you have not grabbed the workshop on Tuesday,
learn how to sell with me.
We'd love to have you there.
They're so much fun.
And then we also have the membership sale.
So come join us.
That maker's gonna learn thousands of cut files,
hundreds of fonts, commercial use lessons.
Renee, you get to leave that comment.
That comment that you just posted
enters you into the giveaway.
Isn't that awesome?
I love that.
So we do have a few more minutes,
and we have a nice little group.
So if y'all have any questions, any comments,
I'm gonna take a drink of my coffee.
Yes, love it.
What are we making Monday?
Kathy, that's an amazing question.
Is that not like the best question ever?
Let me look.
Do, do, do, do, do.
Oh, oh, oh.
On Monday, that's actually crazy
that we're giving away the DTV.
And Monday's video is all about
making a project with DTV
and giving you all a true review of it.
So come hang out with us Monday
to find out who won the DTV
and to talk all about it
because we did not give it a full,
it didn't get a full, you know, scope today.
We just kind of used it.
And then Tuesday's live stream,
we're making Halloween treat bags,
which I know y'all wanna get ahead of and do.
So yay.
I've been wanting to work with a lot of different elements,
but I haven't been kind of sure.
Well, Stephanie, go for it.
Love it.
Thanks, Trish.
Love it, love it.
Tanner, when you woohoo my dog's ears perk up
like this is something,
Tracy, your dog has FOMO.
Is DTV as durable as HTV?
That'll be a great question for us to answer on Monday.
But honestly, it might be better.
I can't wait to discuss this on Monday.
Noon Eastern.
So 9 a.m. Pacific and noon Eastern.
Yes, love it, love it, love it.
So, so good.
So yay.
Oh my goodness.
All right, my friends.
It is gonna be incredible.
What do you suggest to put on a guest book to personalize it?
So if you have a guest book
and it's made out of leather
or more like a notebook-y material,
this is still kind of leather, hold on.
This is like notebook-y material.
I would put a heat transfer vinyl
on something like this or leather.
But if you have something more like this,
which is just a notebook,
you just have a notebook
or something more similar to like this,
I would use vinyl.
That's what I would use.
So yay.
The DTV is a lot softer.
It infuses a lot more and things like that.
So yay, that is so fun.
But guys, thanks so much for hanging out with us today.
It has been an amazing Friday to get to be live with you.
These 13 days are going so fast.
We're already to day nine.
So it's a lot of fun.
So we'll see you back here live on Monday.
We have prerecorded videos
to celebrate Halloween on Saturday and Sunday.
And we cannot wait to continue crafting with you all.
So if you need anything, reach out to us, let us know.
And until next time, happy, happy crafting.
Don't forget, grab your ticket to the workshop,
grab your membership this weekend
and get crafty with us, my friends.
You're invited.
So see you guys there.
Bye, see you on Monday.
