Ode to Summer! The Joys of Simple & Slow Rural Living 🐓Vlog

Welcome to the Joys of Simple & Slow, Rural Living here at the Carriage House! Today, I’m going to try and capture simple joys that summer has to offer before it flees away once again….I plan to make a refreshing key lime pie along with a vintage type of jello salad (Recipes down below) and even going to try and plant our pumpkin seeds, so they’ll be ready when those first days of autumn appear.

Yes, there are quite a few piles of laundry waiting for me, legos and puzzle pieces lay scattered around the house wishing to be put away. I could choose to let myself become agitated & allow myself to let all those little things bother me if i want...but today, I choose thankfulness. Today, I choose to savor moments that bring happiness. Today, I choose to harbor wholesome thoughts while making simple yet precious memories. I’m really glad you’re here and joining me on this beautiful, warm summers day. I hope you enjoy your visit here at the Carriage House, and I hope all is well!
