Hey you guys, welcome back.
Today's video is going to be a very fun video
because I'm going to be reviewing the BTS x MTPR contact lenses,
specifically their Boy With Luv collection.
There is also an Idol and DNA collection as well,
but today we're gonna focus on the Boy With Luv lenses.
I'm super excited for this video because I adore BTS.
I am an ARMY, so just having these contacts in my hand and trying them out,
is so cool.
These were sent to me from YesStyle.
They carry these lenses on their site.
YesStyle gifted these to me in exchange for today's video.
So with that being said, let's just jump straight into the review.
So let's start off with some product info and what actually comes in this collection.
YesStyle does carry this little bundle where you can get all six lenses.
Five of them will be monthly, and one of them is a daily contact lens.
And this is $118 USD.
But if you do want to buy them individually,
you can get these for $21 USD off YesStyle.
And they also have these little cases for your contact lens.
I think this is just so cute.
And these are $10 USD each.
So one of them is the Persona album cover.
You don't have to use this for your contact lens.
You can take the little thing out and put other things in.
You could even fit photocards in here as well.
That's really cute.
And then the other one is the iconic Boy With Luv logo,
but, oh, they're just so cute.
So I will leave all links down below for each lens and also the cases.
I also do have an affiliate code with YesStyle as well if you guys would like to use it.
Pretty much, if you do use my code or if you shop via my personal referral link,
then I will get commission if you do purchase something with my code or link.
So I just wanted to make that clear.
But yeah, enough of that.
Let's just talk about the lenses.
We have six of them to get through.
So the first lens that I want to talk about is the one that I'm currently wearing.
These are called Soul Blue, and this is a monthly lens.
I would describe these to be like a very deep muted blue.
I think it looks very natural on the eyes, and the pattern is very pretty.
But it's not too intense where it looks very crazy.
I think this looks as natural as blue contacts can look on an Asian person.
I don't think they like stand out too much, but it's still eye-catching.
Also, this lens is a little bit enlarging.
It is bigger than my actual pupil.
My friend Denise, she also reviewed these as well.
And she's more experienced with contacts.
I'll link her video down below.
But she talks about like the diameter and she's more like knowledgeable about lenses.
So I'll leave her video.
It might be a little bit more helpful than mine.
I'm just describing what I like.
So yeah, I do think the blend on the Soul Blue is very natural.
It just diffuses into your natural eye color.
It doesn't look too crazy.
To me, this is a blue that I definitely can wear where it's not too crazy dramatic.
And I think this is a really great blue lens.
Like, I love this one a lot.
It's super, super pretty.
By the way, this is the packaging of the boxes.
So this is the monthly and this is the daily.
I think it's pretty.
Maybe I'm a little bit biased here.
I just think everything is so pretty.
And the next contact color I want to talk about is Soul Pink.
So this one is a very special, unique lens.
First off, this is my first like pink lens that I've ever tried and used.
And I would say it's like a mixture of like pink and purple.
Usually the lenses that I have tried are quite natural.
This one is spiral.
It looks so cool on the eyes.
And I think because of the eye look that I did, it just made it even like more intense in a good way.
The size of the actual contact lens is not enlarging.
I feel like all of the other lenses in this collection is quite enlarging.
But this is the one that I think fits my pupil quite well.
I would say it's slightly bigger than my actual pupil.
But for the most part, it does not give me that enlarging effect.
Although it's like a pink slash purple lens, I still feel like it's quite natural.
I don't think natural is the right word to describe it.
But it doesn't look too crazy.
Like when you think of pink contact lenses, you think it's gonna look so crazy.
But this one doesn't look crazy at all.
I think it's a very special contact lens because of that spiral effect.
I haven't seen a contact lens like that.
Next up, we have Sol Hazel.
And this is a light caramel brown.
If you guys have tried the Olanda Russian Velvet Brown and Spanish Brown,
the color and vibe gives me a bit of those two lenses.
I love how these just enhance my brown eyes.
And I love the tone of it.
It's super pretty.
And this one is a little bit enlarging.
So it's going to give you that baby doll eye.
I think all of these lenses, they are enlarging but not too enlarging.
I personally don't like enlarging contact lenses.
I do prefer lenses that just fit my pupil and just change my color.
But it's like the right amount of enlarging for me personally.
And also, the pattern on Sol Hazel is really pretty as well.
I like how it just diffuses into my brown eyes so effortlessly.
Out of all the lenses that came in this collection,
this is the one that I probably would wear the most just because it is a brown.
And I just love how it makes my eyes look.
I feel like it just enhances my brown eyes.
So Sol Hazel is really, really pretty.
And the next lens we have is Sol Indigo Blue.
This one is a very, like, deep blue.
And it's very natural-looking because it is a very deep navy blue.
And also, the pattern is not intense at all.
It, like, really diffuses into your eyes really well so that it almost looks quite dark.
And because I have dark eyes, it doesn't look too intense.
And again, because this is more of an enlarging lens and it is quite dark,
it really gives you that doll-like eye look.
The shade is really unique to me.
I don't actually own a lot of contact lenses, but I have tried a few.
The name of this lens is perfect.
It's like a deep indigo blue.
And the lens is just really around the rim of your pupil.
It doesn't go all the way in.
So this one, to me, is a very, like, subtle, deep blue enlarging contact lens.
And next up, we have Sol Grey.
Similar to Sol Indigo Blue.
I would say the pattern is kind of similar,
where it just focuses mainly at the outer rim of your eyes.
And the pattern is not too strong.
Like, there's no crazy pattern.
It just kind of diffuses in towards the middle into your natural eye color.
Although this says grey, I would say this does pull a little bit more blue.
It gives me off, like, a very blue-grey sort of color.
But it's a very natural lens, in my opinion, I think.
Because there's no strong pattern, and mainly the color is at the outer rim.
It's more of like a seamless contact lens.
It doesn't look odd on me.
I think it's actually quite wearable as well.
So those were the five monthly lenses.
We now have the daily lens in Sol Brown.
Sol Brown, on me, is pretty much my natural eye color.
But this lens is an enlarging lens.
So it does make my pupil look a lot bigger.
But the color doesn't really change.
Like, the color changed ever so slightly.
Like, maybe one shade lighter.
But for the most part, it's a very natural-looking lens.
If you were just to see me for, like, a brief moment,
you probably can't tell that I am wearing a contact lens.
And I wore this in my Natasha Denona video.
And Denise said that she didn't notice that I was wearing lenses
until she read my description box.
So I would recommend this lens for those of you guys that don't like colored contacts.
But you want to enlarge your eyes.
But you don't want to take away your natural eye color.
Then this is the perfect lens for you.
So that was my thoughts on all of the lenses.
I now want to give you my favorites and my recommendations.
So the first recommendation, like my top favorite out of the bunch,
would definitely have to be Sol Hazel.
I just love the look of these.
If you're a fan of Spanish brown and Russian velvet brown from Olens,
then I think you would really like these.
These are just so pretty up my alley.
I love how they make my brown eyes look.
I also really enjoyed Sol Blue as well.
I just think these are the most flattering blue lenses that I own.
And I did enjoy Sol Brown.
I think it's, like, a very natural lens.
And it is a daily lens as well, which I do prefer daily lenses
just because I don't wear lenses every single day.
And I think daily, it just works out better money-wise.
I think Sol Brown is a nice, like, everyday lens to wear.
So these three would have to be, like, my top favorites.
But honestly, I loved all six.
I think Sol Pink is a very unique one as well.
But not a lens that I would wear, like, every day.
But it is a very special, unique pattern and color.
So before we end the video, I want to show you guys the photocards.
Because in all the lenses, you do get a little photocard.
I am collecting photocards.
This is my photocard folder.
And I just thought I would show you guys.
So like I mentioned earlier that my friend Denise also reviewed these as well.
And she got photocards.
And she sent them over to me because she knows I'm a fan.
So she gave me Jin, Jimin, and V.
And then I got RM, two Jimin, two Hope, and one JK.
So I pretty much have everyone besides Suga.
Here is the folder here.
Since I did get double of Jimin and Hope, I'm giving it to my friend.
Which coincidentally, those two are her bias.
So it works out.
But this is how I displayed it.
Let me take it out so it's easier to show you guys.
So this is how I displayed it.
And then if you were to flip it over, I just put Jimin and V.
It looks so nice in my folder because I don't have a lot of completed sleeves.
And this is just completed, dedicated to the BTS MTPR Boy With Luv lenses.
So I just want to show you guys that.
Those are all the photocards.
It's sad that I am missing Suga.
And this, you guys, is going to conclude today's video.
If you guys made it to the end, I'm glad you did.
Because Yesstyle was so kind enough to host a giveaway with me.
So there's gonna be one winner.
And the prize is the Seoul Blue monthly lens.
Which just so happened to be one of my favorites.
And also the two limited edition contact lens cases.
I'm going to leave the giveaway rules down below.
So just open up the description box and see how you can join.
It's going to be very simple, very easy.
I just want to say thank you to Yesstyle for sending these over to me.
And hosting a giveaway so that I can give back to you guys.
Thank you so much for watching.
Please subscribe if you haven't already.
I love you guys.
And I'll see you in my next video.
Bye!
