THE LAST SUMMER IN THE CITY VLOG 🗽🚕🌭

and we're back hello you guys what's up welcome back to my channel and welcome to summer in the city day 14 it's really sad that today is the last day but there will always be more content this has been so so so much fun I am not sure if there will be a video this Sunday or not I can't decide I just want to take a couple days to kind of you know fill my own cup and relax a little bit but I have really enjoyed doing this for you guys and I have another day ahead so this is the last vlog of the summer in the city series but I have a playlist that you guys can watch and it has all 14 vlogs in one space for you I woke up this morning I went to my workout I got a pedicure at gloss lab my toes look so cute and then I went and treated myself to a little table for one club got a lentil soup at LPQ and now we're back and I've got to do some admin stuff some computer stuff I want to shower and wash my hair because I'm going to Rebecca Minkoff dinner tonight which I'm so excited about it's at this restaurant called Palma and it looks absolutely gorgeous it's like a sit-down dinner I'm so so excited for that I have a really cute outfit picked out I was gonna go for like a longer hot girl walk like on the High Line or something that was one of the things I wanted to do in this vlog series but it might rain so we're gonna do some stuff around the apartment for now and we'll see but I have a lot to do including but not limited to refilling my supplements for the week I always have to do this once a week this is my supplements case it's from the brand port and polish I got it off of Nordstrom I'll link it below so yeah I just put all of my vitamins that I take each day in here so I have it for the week tada it's literally so satisfying doing this it's literally playing club playing club penguin mancala or like real-life mancala obviously I'm gonna light some candles cuz we're gonna be at my apartment for a few hours and I just want to set the vibes this one's beach vibes from replica I love their candles and perfume so much I love the coop candles so much I'm gonna burn this new one it's called bubble bath it has coconut and sandalwood which are two amazing scents together like absolutely I want my apartment to smell so delicious just did the dishes clean the counters I'm always having to clean the counters because they're white but it's really satisfying honestly I'm just tidying up around here I made my bed this morning before I went to my workout I was very proud of myself I'm gonna take a shower now so my hair air dries a little bit while I do my computer work I'm trying to think if I have any products I want to highlight right now oh this pharmacy green clean stuff is amazing it literally melts away your makeup like if you just want to take off your makeup in the shower and then I follow up with like a face wash if I really want this stuff smells bomb it's the way scalp and body scrub it smell it's in the scent st. Bart's smells like a beachy hotel but like tropical edition it's so good I haven't used it as a hair like a scallop scrub I've just used on my body and my body is so smooth oh and also I've been loving this Dove body love moisture boost body cleanser my skin is also very soft because of this and it just feels me I put it all over my body and then for shampoo and stuff I always switch off today I'll probably go by a lodge I'm feeling it so I use the color last shampoo and conditioner and that's what you got to know about that see ya just got the shower I decided I'm gonna wash these sneakers because they're already getting so dirty and I recently got them that's just white shoes pro tip I wash my sneakers with a towel so it kind of mitigates the sound a little bit later I am doing random stuff for taxes I'm about to order some groceries my hair is air drying right now I also put some looks tanning stuff on my face in hopes that my face gets a little more color the next few hours so for groceries I'm going out of town next week I don't need a ton but you guys know I love my breakfast in the morning so I want to get some more some bananas would be good and like a couple avocados and I hope they freaking pick like some ripe ish ones because I still have bright green ones in there and they're just not ripen up I need them to get dark I'm gonna get some bread for the morning some sourdough bread I really just took it on a sourdough bread kick and it makes me so happy I look like a like a mad scientist anyways I'll do the grocery haul when the groceries come I think it's gonna get delivered in the next few hours which is why I love instacart I'm gonna place this grocery order and then just keep working all right let's see how my sneakers look also it's like where's the towel oh oh my gosh they look fire flames I'm so impressed let's check the other shoe oh my gosh well that works so also I will admit I didn't just put them in the wash I put them in the wash obviously with the towel I sprayed some of this shout spray on the tips where the stains were it was just like you know dirt and tar and all that and then I used the laundress sport detergent because this stuff is extra smelly good I love this stuff then I also use this branch basics oxygen boost like I did one scoop of it and I put it in the wash it whitens brightens remove stains and odors so I don't know what did what but um I am very very happy with how these turned out I'm just gonna let a bear dry whoa when I tell you guys I'm so happy I just got two major computers so I've done that I have literally had hanging over my head for the last like a week and a half cuz I was like I'll just do it once I run the city's over and I know it's not over yet and I'm so sorry but it's so overclassed overcast and cloudy outside and I'm just really content and really happy here right now like I'm like candles going my I paused it but I've got my jazzy vibe music playing like if you just need to get something done throw your hair up in a bun put on your blue light glasses listen some chill loafy beats on Spotify light some candles it's crazy how much you can get done um my groceries just got here so I'm gonna do a little grocery haul for you guys I also wanted to say thank you guys so much for all of your really really really sweet comments that you left on my video I wasn't asking for the comments at all but they do mean more to me than you guys could ever know it's like really cool to see I don't know just like that you guys do appreciate what I show in my vlogs and that a lot of you can relate to me with the body image and a lot of you guys honestly gassing me up so thank you so much I had no idea it was just it was nice to hear and I really do appreciate you guys always like I'm getting so many DMS and I'm just so appreciative of you guys and yesterday was like a funky day for me but it allowed for today to be a lot better of a day and it's just getting better and better so I am so thankful for you guys and I just wanted you to know that all right time for a little grocery haul I was a little hungry when I was placing this order um but I think I'll get all this eaten for sure before I leave for kombuchas my two favorite flavors are ginger berry and trilogy some blueberries turkey it's a good little snack hummus to go with my pita chips I love just having canned soup on hand judge me I got more Rao's marinara sauce some avocados they're all green they're all green so love that green beans so great as a side dish tortillas for my eggs but I thought I picked the small ones these are definitely large figure that out and then I got to have loaves they wouldn't sell a whole one of sourdough bread got bonza pasta I always like to have it on hand I got the spaghetti and the rotini and some bananas oh and Raz cranberry look right cuz I didn't sell Topo Chico so I need to figure out how to get some more Topo Chico it's a double eyepatches type of day we're getting glam tonight well I'm not getting glam sadly I'm glamming myself all right we have the Rebecca Minkoff dinner tonight and they dressed me which was so nice I did get to pick out what I wore though so I picked out this beautiful dress from Rebecca Minkoff it's like kind of a midi not really but I love this pink crochet it's gorgeous and wearing a size small and then I have these shoes which I am literally so excited to wear my friend Colby had on I was like I need these and here I am I have them they're awesome they match my nails all of this I'm so excited um so and she said they're pretty comfortable and then we've got this beautiful Rebecca Minkoff clutch so fun I'm so excited I've already tried on the dress but I haven't tried it on with everything so fingers crossed it actually looks good time to start the getting ready process I'm about to listen to Not Skinny Not Fat's new episode I've been loving her podcast she just talks about pop culture it's super chill drinking kombucha got my makeup bag here savoring every last second with these eyepatches on before I should take them off I'm gonna do my makeup first then my hair no idea what to do with my hair I kind of just want it out of my face but I like just washed it so I know it's gonna be harder to slick back and like it's nice and fresh hair like I might as well style it so I want to get a crimper like a like a waver or whatever I think that would be cute but I don't have one today so updates to come I feel like I said a lot updates to come all right we're ready side part is out you know call me a millennial like I I'm just feeling the side part tonight I did eyeliner again cuz I feel like it looks really cute show you guys the fit okay so here's the fit all Rebecca Minkoff I love these shoes the bag the dress is cute it's a little like awkward length on me I thought it was gonna be midi or like shorter and long story short Brooke also is going and I'm about to go over her department because the dress I initially picked out to go with this is also a pink dress it's just a different pink dress and they're like oh like Brooke already picked that out and I was like and that's actually never happened to us we always like pick different things but she basically just told me she's not wearing that anymore so I was like well let me go test all my options out so I'm gonna go try on that dress it's also pink just a different style you guys will see I'm gonna see how that looks with this but I mean obviously I'd be happy with this too I just I don't know it's not the most flattering dress but I do love the colors all together so we're gonna go to Brooks and then we're gonna go to dinner he was getting dinner nearby so I met up and we're here walking together I'm walking here well well well if it isn't the nightly confessional I just got back and the dinner was absolutely stunning it was so beautiful this restaurant Palma you guys need to go it's in the West Village on Cornelia Street it's gorgeous the food was so good yeah and they sent us home with this beautiful bouquet of flowers that I'm gonna put on a vase it's so gorgeous but um I can't believe it's the end of the summer in the city series it's so it's just become this awesome fun thing like I'm definitely gonna do it again next summer and I'm excited to see like the difference in the things I do next summer obviously too and hey maybe I'll do it again later this summer who knows probably not probably not but obviously be vlogging I still upload twice a week which I think is great but I have loved taking you guys along these past two weeks this has been so much fun I've really gotten to try some really cool things and I've made like a lot of friends along the way or like my friendships with certain people have gotten stronger because I was like hey you want to come do this with me and ended up being really fun so thank you guys so much for the York for the next few days or for the rest of the end of the week and I have my and then I have my family reunion this coming week in Illinois I've gone every summer well we skipped one summer because of COVID but every summer since I was a kid we go to Illinois we relax I won't be vlogging there but I think I'm gonna then after that I'm like flying from Illinois to Tampa with my family for 4th of July for like five days and you guys are really upset that I didn't vlog in Tampa last time so I might vlog when I'm home because you guys seem to love the Florida content too so we'll see I might vlog like the next few days I don't really know I feel like I'm gonna take a good day break and see but there will be more content coming your way definitely follow me on instagram at danielle carolyn
