Is This the BEST Dinosaur Museum in the US?! // RVing to Dinosaurs in Utah!
Dinosaur National Monument is truly a dinosaur lover's dream! As one of the few places in the world where hundreds of dinosaur bones are perfectly preserved in the ground, you can actually touch fossils and the interactive displays will teleport you back in time back to when these creatures roamed the area!
Although we were surprised by the lack of dinosaur fossils in the town of Dinosaur, Colorado we were immediately rewarded in our search for dinosaurs when we crossed back into Utah to visit the Dinosaur National Monument in Vernal.
Not to be outdone, a short drive and hike later, we came foot to foot with fossilized dinosaur footprints that really made us think about how amazing it is that they are preserved so well in their natural environment and so easily accessible!
By far, this part of our adventure provided our best encounter with dinosaur remains and we highly encourage you to plan a trip to explore Dinosaur National Monument as you pass through the area!
