Hello everyone and a warm welcome to my new
video Yes I am clearly here with little Tino
And then we're still missing a very important video
Specifically the video about Tino's coronation or rather about Tino's second coronation
Because I was already there two years ago when it was on the market That was in the fall
In 2017 also at the Weser-Ems horse registry which also lists that
The selection always takes place in November in Vechta And back then two years ago he wasn't selected
There's also a whole video series about it on my channel I'd be happy to link all the videos in the infobox
Also the preliminary selection and the final selection itself I have a short version of a longer one here
FMA style and then also the explanation of why he wasn't elected when I then received the minutes
Yes and since then two years have passed
And of course I've thought about
whether it makes sense
To send the pony for another inspection or not I must
say that after the first inspection I really didn't feel like it
Tino made it especially nice for you of course
Sometimes I don't clean especially for the videos
Yes after the first inspection I really didn't feel like driving again It was too much effort and too disappointing
I thought if you already have a negative opinion it doesn't make much sense to go somewhere else again
But in the two years that have passed Tino has of course
continued to develop I had noticed his weaknesses back then
accepted and is now considering whether I can still make something out of it through training or further efforts
It somehow can Whether there's a chance to try again or not
And I have come to the conclusion that I would like to try it again and then I did so withou
The community had something to say about it and it was also prepared for a second round of selection
That also played into my hands a bit that this
another selection organized by another breeding association so not again Weser Ems bu
from the German Horse Breeding Association short for ZFDP
Yes it was a great advantage for me that this selectio
It took place not very far from us Also there were such events in Grevenbruch and you know I live in Cologne
And that's really not that far apart
That's why it wasn't such a big deal for me or for us
It was like driving to Vechta I think we spent three hours on the way and about half an hour for the inspection
Of course effort time and money were put into the preparation but I just wanted to do it again
And I did it on purpose
ept secret from the community because I just didn't feel like having discussions
because I didn't feel like having to justify myself again If it doesn't work out after all
If he hadn't been selected in the second round I would
have just submitted it and it would have been fine
But as many of you who follow me on Instagram know the second round was successful
Tino is now a registered stallion in the ZFDP
the German Horse Breeding Association I know that
Yes there have been a few negative voices such as those from the ZFDP and that's really not worth much
as in Weser-Ems or in the Rhineland or in Westphalia
I don't care about such things I'm completely happy that he was elected
I am very pleased that I can now prepare him for the stallion performance test which will take place in November
I'm curious to see how he does there and if he manages to pass then he's officially in for life
Then we'll see what else will happen Well I also have some clips from the crowning for you
It's not really much material I have to say at this point
I think there are three four mobile phone videos from the different
Stations that you have to do there I'll also tell you something about it briefly while it's running
But there's really not much video footage because honestly I have to say I didn't think the Sully had just whinnied super cute
at I would not have thought this selection would be successful
Even though I naturally wished for it I didn't find the probability particularly high
at when a second inspection is carried out if the first one has already failed
a positive medical opinion and takes it home And that is why we have only very very few
I made a few phone videos so that in case something happens we at least have something
Now I would have been glad if I had made it a bit more detailed but that's usually the case
If I had done a detailed FMA it would definitely not have been cut again
Yes that's why I'm happy to show you the excerpts and I've also received the final report with the grades
I will of course also like to show you and
tell you the notes on which we can also be a little proud
Then I hope you have a lot of fun with the clips
Tino says goodbye once again
I'm afraid I'll have to sit down to show him to you properly because he's just really small
1.30 meters in height
He was measured at only 1.29 during the selection which I can't believe at all
So have fun with the clips
Let's start here with the so-called paving pattern which is an assessment on hard ground
This is the first part exam here at the Körung but actually the paving pattern is usually started at other Körungs as well
What are the judges evaluating here or what would they like to see
Firstly this is about the score for the horse's building
This means body type building is just another word for it but also the race and sex type
To do this the stallion is placed in front of the judges from each side ideally openly
This means that the two legs pointing towards the judges are farther apart than the two legs facing the opposite direction
So that you can see all four clearly and they can assess the leg position hoof position angles and everything else
Then the horse is led away from the judges and brought back towards them in the walk and trot gaits
To assess the so-called correctness of the gait
This involves among other things whether the horse places its hoof flat whether it steps wide behind or twists at the joint
Of course you can make the first notes here for the walking
pace as you can clearly hear the rhythm on the hard ground
There were indeed some problems in Weserheim as Tino honestly said
Because he was a bit excited and thereby shifted his step phase
Here in Grevenbruch they are very precise in their timing noting that the step is much better than in the first evaluation
Now the other side will be looked at once again and then walked away by the judges
I can already reveal what grades Tino has received
here compared to the grades from the first evaluation
There was a 7 for breed and sex type which was also the case during the first evaluation back then
There was a 7 in the building which was also the case in Weserheim
Only in terms of the correctness of his walk did he get a 7 here and back then he just got a 6
This is where the second part of the exam takes place the free running and jumping
For world champions free diving is optional meaning it is voluntary in this case
I didn't do it back then two years ago because I thought he had already enough to learn for a three-year-old
Now with 5 I also trained it and let it compete there
That was actually not bad at all in the end
Judges naturally evaluate the trot and the canter during the
free walk and give a score for the jumping during the show jumping
Tino got an 8 on the trot which made me really happy
He got a 7.5 there in Vechta
I also felt that he had actually performed better here
than before because the hindquarters were simply more active
He got a 7 for the gallop
That was the same grade
two years ago Of course I was happy about that
That's all for today
See you next
time Bye
And finally the third station after paving
pattern and free running: slash free jumping
Here we come to the inspection on the Triangle Track
I was just walking straight towards the judges with Tino in a walk
You can actually pass straight through the triangle
Then the stallion is once again placed before the judges
and then they go around once more completely on the outside
that is around the triangle at a canter
Here the judges can take another look at everything
where they have any doubts
Once the stallion is set up they can reassess the body structure again
Check the type double-check all the notes
the ones they may have given before
On the track where they trot they can see the stallion trotting from behind
Walking from the front seeing and everything that still
has some doubts can here either dissolve or be confirmed
Then all the stallions of the breed are
asked to take part in a trotting round
This means that the rider simply walks the stallion around the outside once more
The judges can also take another look at all the stallions in comparison
Of course especially the step if they don't have a note yet
Then another note will be given for the overall impression
and I think you can clearly see
here that Tino actually took
a reasonable step which he simply couldn't show in Weser-Ems
And I think that was also a deciding factor
when considering all the other notes as well
They were similar to those
in Weser-Ems that he was
elected here He actually received an 8 on his step
I was really really happy about it
And for the overall impression he got a 7
Thus an average of 7.25 for all grades overall
That was a 6.6 in Weser-Ems
and since a minimum of 7.0 is required
so that the stallion is castrated
Is this just now been fulfilled and not in Weser-Ems back then
You can also see the other three Welchbee stallions
in this round who have nearly competed with Tino
This small chestnut pony here is a Dartmoor stallion He
was the only one of his breed
That's why he was in the step
group with the Welsh or even all the Welsh bees
I will briefly explain how I experienced the announcement of the results
It was like this: Tino was called forward first
Then something was said about him
He was just described what they liked about him
And one of the judges came to me and said then something like
You know what that means
And I looked at him so totally stunned and said no
Then he said well if we ask you to bring the stallion
forward then the stallion is castrated Congratulations
And I looked at him totally unbelievably and
then it was said again through the speaker
And then I could finally believe it
Because if the stallions are not castrated
Then it is simply said that the stallion is not castrated
Thank you
Yes unfortunately the recording cut out exactly at the moment
when I completely lost it and jumped into the judge's arms
But sometimes it's just
like that my girlfriend was unfortunately bumped by someone
and then the recording was over
Nevertheless Tino was actually chosen
I will now show you the judgments of the other three stallions
The chestnut stallion has been castrated and the dark bay and palomino
stallion unfortunately
not That also made me very sad
Because were all in the same boat
somehow and cheered together all day
And then it's of course
really sad because I also know
exactly how it feels when the stallion isn't castrated
I really felt bad for the other two
