For the concrete lamp we need concrete
I took a mixture ratio of one part cement to three parts quartz sand
Then I added water until a nice consistency formed
Then we need oil a string of lights and a small canning jar that is now 11 cm high
Then a plastic ball which has a diameter of 13 cm a shell where you then place the plastic ball
can position it properly and a hot glue gun
First we attach the jar opening down centered in our plastic ball
And that's what we're doing now with hot glue
Before we pour the concrete now we will lubricate the whole thing with some oil
That is to say only the ball and not the glass because the concrete is supposed to stick well to the glass
Then the concrete is already poured into the sphere
Then you can tap it a bit to make the air bubbles rise to the top
Let the whole thing dry thoroughly now
I have let the concrete dry for a few days and will now remove the whole thing from the mold
Next we take the other half of the sphere You can of course
also use the same half of the
sphere And now we brush it with oil
Then the concrete will be filled in again
Before we now flip this half over and insert it like this
Is it really advisable to wash the glass a bit more and remove the concrete outside here
So and now we will insert the glass here in the middle and then use something for the spacing
I have here some wooden sticks
Now we put this in and make sure everything is perfectly aligned
So then it also has to dry for a few days
After a few days the lower part is also dry and I can then remove the wooden poles
and also release the concrete from the lower mold
Then you can smooth out these irregularities a bit
You can now paint these inner areas with color if you wish
I am using a Maya color here
Finally one then takes an LED light and places it there
Take this string of lights and plug them in
And then you're already done
