How To Style A Trench Coat - Outfits Ideas

Hi everyone, it's Nisha. So today I've got for you trench coat outfit ideas. So I was thinking to start doing like a series of sort of key pieces, staples in your wardrobe that you can put together with lots of other things. From one thing you can get lots of other outfits. I've told you before that I try to be a bit more careful when I'm shopping now instead of buying anything that it just looks beautiful and I like it. I try to think have I got already something that will go with it? How many outfits can I make out of that one item? So a bit like the one I did one top five outfits. So today I thought I'd do the trench coat and I have lots of outfits and I could have filmed many more. So let's start. I have this trench coat. I've shown it to you not long ago. It's quite new. I bought it on Amazon, but trench coats are everywhere. So I will leave you a link to this one and also to any similar ones. You can pay as little as 40 pounds for one and obviously into hundreds of pounds. This one I think was 80, around 80 pounds. It's very nice and I think that trench coat, it's a real wardrobe staple. It goes with everything. You can wear it with more casual, sporty clothes or you can wear it with work suit, with dress, skirts. Although I don't have any outfits with skirts or dresses. As you know, I don't think I own even one skirt. Dresses, I usually wear them in the summer and they're usually maxi dresses. So I don't wear dresses or skirts. It's just trousers or jeans. So, okay, let's go. Maybe we will start with more casual stuff because that is something that you wear on a daily basis. You wear it more often than something elegant. So the first outfit, I put these white joggers with my Veja trainers and, where is it? And this sort of silk cotton knitted hoodie. As you can see, this is such a lovely, very monochromatic look and I love that. I think it looks so elegant even if it's casual clothes and all the colours are Veja's creams, white, muted. I think it looks really, really nice. Comfortable, warm, great outfit to go shopping or just run your errands. In the next outfit, I just wore my normal blue jeans, cropped, slim. You could wear sort of cropped, straight cut jeans, boot cut jeans, any jeans really. And I've put them together with this stripy t-shirt and my platform trainers. You probably noticed that the stripes are so in this season. Jumpers, t-shirts, blouses, everything is stripy, especially navy and white, navy and cream. Okay, another trendy look. Comfortable, run around, shopping, running your errands. The next outfit is black skinny jeans, very thin black knit and bike boots. Biker Chelsea boots, again, are so in fashion this season. They've been in fashion for a while but this season seem to be really, really big. You also have those, is it Luxo, Luxo loafers and Luxo boots. So these are my pride and joy. I love these. These are actually lined as well. So this is probably for maybe wet weather when it's a bit cooler. Very comfortable again and I think very stylish. And then even more casual, black joggers which I'm wearing right now. Nice knitted hoodie. This one is again with stripes. These are, this is like oatmeal and black and again my bike boots. For this outfit I put together white straight crop jeans, sort of nice thin knit beige and cream and again my VEA trainers. Now let's move on to maybe more smart outfits. So the first one I used my cropped sort of slim beige trousers. I've used these little Vivaya shoes and just put a silk top on. You can put any white top, white shirt, white t-shirt, something that is a bit smarter. And again this is very comfortable. These shoes are amazing and I've talked to you about those. They are from Vivaya. These are sustainable, made out of recycled materials. The most comfortable shoes ever. I've actually, when I've told you about these shoes they have been sent to me but I like them so much I have actually ordered myself a pair. It's not here yet but a really really cute pair. I will show it to you when I get it. And with the same trousers for a bit more casual one, that's another casual one, I've put on this Ralph Lauren aqua jumper and again the VEA trainers. And I think this is again like between casual and smart but you know at my age we are going for comfort above anything else. Even if we're trying to look nice, if we use heels, we use small heels just to be comfortable. Now don't think that you cannot wear wide flowy bootcut palazzo pants with trench coat. You might think because of the length of it, because it's a bit wide that you can't wear flowy white trousers but you definitely can. So in that, in this outfit I've put on these beige very very flowy trousers. I think these were from H&M with the college jumper and my platform trainers. I wore the platform trainers because these are quite long so they look better with the platform trainers. They add a bit of height as well so I think that look really good too. You could do the same with black white trousers. I'm just showing you here quickly the ones that I bought I think still in a winter. These are still very much in fashion that sort of jogger white pan type and they still sell them everywhere. Now for something really cute, you could wear that if you work in an office. If you wear suits or you wear trousers and shirts and you could put this with high heels or flat shoes like I did. So these are just navy skinny sort of very slim cropped suit trousers with this lovely blue and white stripe shirt and a ballerina pumps which are stripy as well. But the stripe on the shirt is very subtle so it doesn't clash so much but again you could wear that with navy high heel shoes. The next outfit I wore these black cropped flare trousers and you can wear them in any colour really. I did the black with these sort of sock ankle little bit cowboy boots. These are from Zara I think these are old ones. Just something that obviously that you can't see your ankle so you could wear one of these stretchy boots on a heel and I just wore this white top with it. Again a bit more smart you could wear it to the office as well. So these were all the outfits that I put together I could have done so many more. That's why I think a trench coat is a must in any woman's wardrobe. That's why I think I will start this series of like wardrobe staples maybe where I find a item of clothing and I try to put it together into different outfits. Whenever I think of something I will do that. Now whatever is still available online that I've shown you here today I will link it. If not I will link some similar things.
