But now, the best way that you can go about this would be by connecting to Bitcoin.org. These guys have put together a series of questions that are going to help you find the most suitable wallet for your particular needs. And so, depending on the particular features that you are interested in, they are going to make a recommendation. For instance, what is your operating system? If you want to mine Bitcoin on your mobile device, just choose Android or iOS. If you're operating on your personal computer, just choose your operating system here, or you can go for a Ledger or a hardware wallet. I'm going to choose Windows, and then hit Next. Two-factor authentication might come in handy, so I'm going to select that and go over. And as you can see, Electrum is the option they recommend, so I might as well download that and create a Bitcoin wallet there. In whatever manner you choose to complete the first step, the most important thing is that you have a Bitcoin wallet address that you can start using.
