I hope everybody's doing great today. I have some really easy Easter egg decorating DIYs that I
think you guys are going to love. They're super easy and they totally fit into your home decor.
You guys ready? Let's go. This first Easter egg decorating DIY is super easy. You're literally
going to take three different colors of yarn and cut tiny little one inch strips and you're just
going to collage it on top of a plastic egg and you can pick them up at the same time,
three at a time. It seemed to work really well. You just put a dab of glue and then just put the
three strands together at a time. See how I just picked that up? It's super easy and I just made
a patchwork and if you have any odd little spaces like that, just put in a little piece and you're
good to go. Love this one. And here's Easter egg decorating design number two. We're going to grab
multiple colors and we're going to wrap them around one of our plastic eggs. I'm going to
start with this pink color and I'm going to wrap it around about four or five times and adding glue
in different parts. You don't have to make a whole strand of glue, just little dots will help.
And then after I did about four or five strands of that color, then I move on to the next color
and I did it in an opposite direction and then one more color and then another color. Next we're
going to add some coils and I just put a dab of glue in the center and just started wrapping it
around until I got that whole section covered so that there wasn't any of the green space
showing anymore from the plastic egg. And then I just continued and did that in a couple other
areas and then add a little red right there just to add a little more of a color, a little more
detail and they're just little pieces that I put in there. And you're basically just making a design
and making coils and adding in the blank spaces and just kind of be creative. For the next Easter
egg decorating design, we're going to take two different colors and we are going to cut them
into strips about two inches in length and we're going to make some stripes from top to bottom of
the eggs. We're going to place two at a time so the blue and white and then we're going to place
the other blue and white right next to it and then it almost makes like a ribbon effect and we're
going to utilize the blank space from the egg so that sage or mint green. We're going to keep that
open and it's going to make it look really cool and cute. This one's really cute. I love that one.
Next one is just a design where we're going to go in a wave pattern kind of squiggling back and
forth with two different colors and I'm using an orange and a pink. We're going to do that along
the entire egg in both directions. We're going to take some tiny pieces of yarn in blue and make
some X's all the way around the egg to make it look like it has another added detail. That one's
so cute. For our next design, we're just going to take whatever yarn we want and we're just going to
wrap it around the egg until we cover the entire egg. We're going to use one color and then we're
going to grab another color, wrap that around and just grab as many colors as you want until you
have none of the plastic egg showing through and this was an easy one. This one is super fast and
I love the way this one turned out. I just decided to add one more egg design. I just grabbed a pink
plastic egg, wrapped a couple times with white yarn and added a little pink bow. I really love
the way these turned out. They're colorful, they're festive, they're not traditional pastel colors that
I used, although you could use pastel. Really use whatever is your style and fits with your decor
and I hope you guys try this DIY. I hope you guys love today's DIY. I think they turn out
great. I want to know what you guys think. Be sure to comment, let me know and until next time, happy DIYing!
