What's In My CURRENT EVERYDAY MAKEUP DRAWER ~Summer to Fall Transition Makeup~ 🌞🌻🍃
1 Video View·Nov 2, 2022
Hey guys, so today I thought it would be fun to pick out a new everyday makeup drawer.
I just recently officially moved my makeup in to its new set of drawers, so it's all
organized in there, and I'm excited to pick out some new products for my everyday makeup
drawer.
If you missed my two makeup organization videos, I'll leave those linked below, but it was
kind of like a two-part series, so I am really excited to now have access to all my makeup
and it's not all like stored away in bins.
So today I thought we could pick out some new products, and the theme for this drawer
is going to be summer to fall transitional makeup, because we're in the second half of
August now, so in my mind, summer is kind of winding down, and pretty soon it'll be
fall.
I'm so excited.
So I don't want to get too ahead of myself and get like fully into the fall makeup right
now, because there's a, we'll have time for that in the future, but I am really excited
to get into like the summer to fall transition makeup, because I love this time of year.
So here is my everyday makeup drawer, and this is where I keep Project Pan and Shop
My Stash items, so essentially just items that I want to kind of keep at the forefront
and make sure that I'm using regularly.
And in this drawer we have new arrivals to my collection, things that I'm just testing
out.
I've got this new Milani mascara that I really liked the one time I used it so far.
So these are just the new things that I also want to pay attention to, and this is the
drawer that we're going to be filling today.
So what I have in here now is mostly just Project Pan items.
I do wish this drawer would pull out just a little bit farther, because there is some
space back there that gets kind of covered up.
But I put products back there that I know I'm going to reach for anyway, like my powders,
so it's not something that's just going to get forgotten about.
And then I have, oh wait this should be over here, I have my Project Pan lip gloss and
concealer and then another concealer that's not officially in a Project Pan, but I still
want to use it.
And then this is brow products, mascara, eyelid primer, things like that.
So in the rest of this space we are going to fill with other products from my collection
that I just want to get some use out of in the next couple of weeks.
So let's go ahead and start with my top drawer.
So in this drawer I have all of my face products, complexion products, blushes, bronzers, face
powder, all of it.
So let's see, I feel like a good summer to fall transition blush, I mean maybe I'm just
looking for another excuse to put this in the drawer, but I love this cream blush so
much from Milani, it's their Cheat Kiss in Nude Kiss.
Gorgeous color, I just, I think this is the most beautiful cross between like red and
pink and I just feel like this color gives me the feeling of like there are cooler days
ahead and it just makes me excited for like crisp fall weather, but it also is just a
summery color too because it kind of just gives you like that sun-kissed flush.
So yeah, I'm putting this in, I could probably just leave this in forever because I just
love this so much.
And I'm thinking this powder blush also is perfect for this time of year.
This is the Cokie Soft Gradient Blush in Bellissima, beautiful toasty red color.
When I initially got this, I thought it looked like a fall and winter color, but then I fell
in love with it in the summer because it really gives you that kind of sunburnt look if you're
into that, which I totally am, but at the same time it kind of also makes me think of
like crispy fall leaves, so I am also going to put this in.
Did I just happen to coincidentally pull out my two current favorite blushes to put in
my everyday makeup drawer?
Perhaps, but you know what, this is, we are entering the era of just using what we're
excited to use just because, so that's what we're doing.
For highlighter, I think I actually want to pull in my NABLA Skin Glazing Highlighter
in Privilege.
I think this probably just makes me think of this time of year because I bought it right
around this time last year, I'm pretty sure, but look at how pretty that highlighter is.
I mean, yeah, it's just gorgeous to look at.
I could stare at it for a long time.
But yeah, I feel like I've been using my Aether highlighters a ton lately, and I mean, I will
continue to use them a ton because they're like my favorites, but I also want to show
this one some love, so let's put that one in as well.
All right, so I think that is everything from this drawer.
That was the top drawer.
I'm actually going to skip over my lip drawer for now because I want to pick out a palette
first.
Okay, so into the palette drawer we go.
Let's see, what palette makes me think of summer to fall?
Let's see.
I kind of want to grab my Aether Beauty, hello, anyone, anyone home, hang on.
There we go.
Now we're in focus.
The Aether Beauty Citrine Quad.
I know I put this in my last everyday makeup drawer, the one that was included in my first
makeup organization video, and I just kind of want to have some more time with it.
To me, these colors do really make me think of summer to fall because they're warm and
toasty, but they're still kind of light and bright and sunny.
They make me think of like the sunshine, but also kind of like a cozy fall day as well.
So I'm going to put this one in there as well.
I just think this is a really great quad.
Let's see.
Is there anything else?
Now I also have my Norvina palette in my everyday makeup drawer, as you saw, because that's
part of my project pan.
So I actually think I'm just going to stick to Norvina and the Aether Quad for now, because
I feel like any more than that and I would feel a little too overwhelmed.
All right, so now let's pick out some lipsticks.
I think I'm going to pick out two lipsticks today because I don't currently have any lipsticks
in my project pan.
Okay.
As soon as I opened the drawer, I knew I wanted to pull this one out.
This is the Elf Seriously Satin Lipstick in Persimmon.
I feel like it's hard to capture the true color of this on camera, but this is a bright
orange lipstick.
It's kind of a red orange, as you can probably tell right now.
Definitely the most orange lipstick I own, and I love it.
I think it's so fun.
And I think just like a fiery orange lip this time of year is just so fun.
So let's pull this in.
So I think that's it for a bold lip.
Now I want to pick out a nude lip as well, and I'm actually eyeing one of my other Elf
Seriously Satin Lipsticks in the shade Nectar.
I haven't worn this in a while because I feel like in the spring and summer, this is a little
bit too deep of a nude, but in the late summer, fall, and winter, I think this is just stunning.
And it's kind of like a toasty pumpkin spice, but it works well on my skin tone.
A lot of those kind of like pumpkin-y looking nudes are a little bit too brown on me, but
this is just perfect.
I love it.
It's got like enough brightness to it.
And I think with those two, I am all set with both a bold and a nude option.
Okay, so I'm rearranging this drawer a little bit because I did end up having the space
to move some of those things that were in the back up towards the front.
Okay, so that is the selection of products.
I'm really excited to use all of these coming up.
I feel like this is kind of the perfect number of products for me.
And if you're wondering, I don't think I'm going to be tracking uses on these items.
I just think that got to feel a little bit like a chore for me when I was getting ready.
At first I enjoyed it, but then, I don't know, it just kind of felt like too much.
I just don't want to feel any sort of pressure when I'm getting ready for the day with my
makeup, so I think that I'll just kind of use these products as I feel like it and make
a point to use all of them.
And if I don't feel like using something, then I'll just use something else.
So that is my everyday makeup drawer for the next two weeks.
