SLOW TRAVEL SNIPPETS Part 1 / Ocean and Countryside Views
Slow travel is based on the same principles as slow living: self-sufficient, local, organic and whole(some).
Sometimes we get stuck in only doing things a certain way and in the process we never get to experience new things or even enjoy the full benefits of things we’ve already done a hundred times.
Next time you plan a vacation or are traveling, consider the following:
Carefully plan your itinerary in such a way that you will not have to rush around needlessly in order to get things done.
Remember it is not just about reaching your destination, but being able to enjoy the journey as well.
Keep it simple.
Stay connected and be intentional.
Meet the locals.
Try to find freshly produced and locally sourced food, as well as ethically manufactured or handmade clothing.
Never forget that everything you do have consequences.
