Well, if you're playing Arena Sabalenka, that is absolutely the way you do not want to see her
inside her baseline and bossing it, which is what she's doing. She just dominates the middle
there, doesn't she? She doesn't have to move at all, and that's a danger with Bedosa. If
you hit it short and down the middle of the court, that Sabalenka forehand is not going to miss.
Second of the set. Fantastic depth.
It's what gives her the chance to move forward and finish it off.
Absolutely. Same again, especially when it's getting close to that baseline. It's so hard
to defend, and then Sabalenka is just able to move up the court. Bedosa just hasn't been able
to find that heavy delivery to the baseline that Sabalenka can get. Hasn't been allowed to,
in truth. Well, it's the first time she's kind of got a bit of a, more of a strike behind that
forehand and really put pressure on the Sabalenka forehand herself, and it coughed up an error.
Little opening here. That is a good return, but I think fitting. Red the serve,
straight down the middle. Smart play, isn't it? Jamming the server up. Don't have much time to
recover after you've hit that first serve. Forcing the error. You can hear all those little
adjustment steps to make absolutely certain you're in position A, and Sabalenka was there.
Just got up to it, didn't she? The footwork was so precise. She didn't go as big. Just really
use that precision rather than power this time. Wasn't quite in position there. Good return from
Bedosa, and here comes a fourth break point of this opening set. Spiel for Bedosa this time.
She makes it count.
