Hello everyone! Today I'm here with the Big Book Tag!
Created by One Book One Review and I don't think I was tagged by anyone but as per usual with tag
videos I just do the tags if I feel like it no matter if I've been tagged or not. So what is this
tag about? Basically it's just showcasing the five biggest books on your shelf that you have read and
also the two biggest books on your shelf that you have not read. So let's get started! Coming in at
number five for the books that I have read is The Host by Stephanie Meyer. This has 617 pages. Pretty
chunky book and out of all of these ones I think it's the only one that I've re-read. I've read it
like three times. It's one of my favourite books of all time and I'm able to get through this pretty
quickly considering its size. Number four is Eona by Alison Goodman. The sequel to Eon and this has
634 pages and I just recently finished this one. I started it part way through a readathon and got
through a good chunk in a day or two and then I kind of slowed down for the last part. So it took
me a little over a week to read this but I really enjoyed it. Number three is Breaking Dawn by
Stephanie Meyer. As you can tell a lot of Stephanie Meyer's books are pretty damn chunky. This is
obviously the fourth book in the Twilight series. Very long book and considering how many pages
there are there's not a lot going on in this story. It was a little disappointing because
yeah I was expecting like a huge epic finale especially for a book this size but it wasn't
what I was expecting. Number two is a little tricky. I own two editions of this book and they
each have different number pages but it is A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin. This edition here
if you exclude the appendix and like the character details and things like that at the very end of
the book it is 780 pages. With those inclusions it is about 803 pages or something and then I also
have this edition which size-wise is considerably smaller but it has a lot finer pages. This one has
just over 800 pages or 835 pages if you include the appendix. Pretty much it's got roughly about
800 pages in them. And then finally the very biggest book that I've read so far
Harry Potter number five. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling. There are a
few of the other books which are pretty chunky as well but I just included this one to kind of
represent those bigger Harry Potter books as a whole. But this one has 870 pages and I will be
rereading this one sometime this year which I'm really excited about. I haven't actually read
this edition because if you've seen my magical unboxing video you'll know that I recently got
the American hardcover box set so that's exciting. And now we are on to the two biggest books that I
have that I have not read. Firstly I have A Storm of Swords by George RR Martin. This one has 1177
pages including the appendix at the end of the book. Yeah there's a lot of pages in this book
and again this one has really really fine pages so it's kind of misleading because it looks like
it's got pretty much the same amount as the first one but it doesn't. It has like at least 300 pages
more. And finally number one Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. This one has about 1230 something
pages. Oh it's massive! And again really interesting because there's not much difference between page
size and this one looks like it's double the size but it's well whoa oh my god this is daunting.
I don't know why. Anyway oh there's dust flying everywhere. Look at those pages upon pages upon
pages. These are really heavy. Anyway that is all for the big book tag. I'm not tagging anyone in
particular but if you would like to do it feel free to do so. Don't forget to check out the
link to the original tag video and everything down below. Cool. I'm done. I'm out of here.
