Hey guys, Europe Essentials here.
For today's video I'm going to be sharing with you how I'm going to cover up large blank
wall spaces in a rental.
I'm going to be starting with foam boards that I got from the Dollar Tree.
And the foam boards are going to be attached to the wall.
I'll be cutting down the foam board to size in order for me to cover up this part.
If you're new to my channel, it's so great to have you here.

I'll be covering up the foam boards with marble contact paper that I got from Walmart.
One covers 25 square feet, so I'll be using two rolls for this project.
I don't know if you guys have noticed that the foam boards that I used are kind of bringing
out lines as I attach the contact papers and that's not good, but let's see how it goes.
These lines are probably because I got foam boards from the Dollar Tree, so I'll recommend
boards from maybe Walmart or any other craft store.
For the design that I want to make on the wall, I'll be using this gold contact paper
that I got online and I'll leave a link for this down in the description box below.
I cut it into strips of one inch and I'll be attaching this to the wall.
The design that I'm going to make on the wall will be 10 inches apart and I'm going to be
making a chevron design.
For those of you out there who want to make a different design, maybe like vector patterns,
you can use this.
This gadget is so cool because it's got laser and tape.
I'm going to leave a link for this down in the description box below.
Now I was going to use this because I wanted making a vector pattern before, but I changed
my mind and decided to go for a chevron pattern.
All I'm going to be doing now is using the points that I have marked that are 10 inches
apart as my guide as I attach the contact paper.
This is what it looks like.
In a way, I thought the lines were too much, so what I did was to remove some of them that
were in between one another and because I couldn't make up my mind on which was better,
I just put the whole thing back.
For the second wall design, I'll be covering up this wall space and the wall that's by
the side is a DIY project that I made some time ago and I'll leave a link for that down
in the description box below.
I'll be using a wallpaper to cover up this space and I'll be using the same technique
that I used as the first method to cover up the walls first before attaching the wallpaper.
I'm also going to be using paper plates from Party City and I'll be attaching this paper
plates to a foam board and I used two foam boards that I attached together with tape
before then gluing on the paper plates on it.
The space here won't be enough for this plate, so I'm going to add a little foam board there
before attaching the plate.
Now I'm going to go ahead and cut off the excess board at the back.
I'll be using funnels for this lighting and I've used funnels for a lot of my videos for
lighting and I will leave a link for them down in the description box below.
I'm going to be removing the parts that I don't need anymore and cut it into two.
I used three funnels, now I have six pieces that I'll be using for the lighting.
I'll be covering up the funnels with contact paper and I'll leave a link for this mirror
reflective paper down in the description box below.
After the light comes on, I wouldn't want it to come out at the bottom here so I'm going
to be covering that up with foam boards.
I'll be using remote control push lights that I'll be gluing on to the funnels and to the
board.
I then attached what I made to the wall with tack nails.
I have gold and silver decor all around my home so because of that I made one wall in
gold and another wall in silver.
These are inexpensive coverings for large wall spaces and I am so happy with the way
they all turned out.
Now don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and share it with your friends and families
as well.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
