Okay guys, let's start from the beginning.
With the outside of our home now being complete, we can now take some time
focusing more on the interior of our house. While we have slowly been tackling the completion of
each room, the master bedroom has been completely neglected, giving no style or comfort to our room
whatsoever. I wanted to add some farmhouse charm easily, so I went on social media to get inspired.
While browsing through Instagram, I saw an ad for wall planks and was impressed by their easy
do-it-yourself sticky adhesive planks with no nailing, which is perfect for me. With so many
distressed shiplap looks, it would be perfect in our bedroom. So I got to typing and ask wall
planks if they wanted to sponsor us. Hi wall planks, my name is Holly and I run a YouTube
channel called Living a Country. Within a few hours, I received an email back from them.
Once the samples were sent and approved with much excitement for me,
they shipped out the palette of planks and within a week were directly at my front door.
With an open day set and my tools in place, it was time to get started on our master bedroom.
For the installation process, our tools of choice were the miter saw since it would give us a fast
and straight cut every time, as well as a jigsaw for around the power outlets.
Once the base trim was installed, we got started on the first row of wall planks.
Since we had just installed the base trim the same day, we leveled the trim with the ceiling
by measuring the distance from a line on the trim to the top of the ceiling. Once we got to the
power outlets, we turned off the power to the bedroom by turning off the breaker in the breaker
box. The wall planks do have a little play time when it comes to readjusting, but make sure to
do it fast before it completely sticks to the wall. After every row, grab your J-roller to make sure
the wall plank is completely applied to the wall. To finish off the wall, we grabbed our table saw
to cut a few two-inch pieces. And since I was a little too short to reach the top, I had my
hubby install the final pieces. Okay, so our master bedroom wall is now complete and I'm so happy with
the way it turned out. It's got that wood, weathered, white, chippy farmhouse look that
everybody knows that I'm going for. So if you guys want to check out wall planks, I will put a link

much to wall planks for sending us these products to check out and we absolutely love them and we
