Hi guys, this is another canopy and kitchen exception we're trying to clean today.
I'll just show the inside how dirty. We're trying to scrape it before start washing.
So basically this canopy is in Greece. Every six months we clean this
restaurant. It's an Italian restaurant in Stock and Trent in England.
Scraping as much as we can before wash.
Take grease and on top we have ducting and the motor which is I'm going to take the motor off.
The ducting has an access door because nobody can put it inside ducting.
So much grease. I'm going to take the motor from top so we can wash the ductwork as well.
Not just the canopy and inside so much grease. We scrape it as much as we can but
any fire hazard we don't want to leave it. So we will wash it but before wash we're just
showing the condition. It's greasy and I'll clean the ductwork as well which is the pipe.
We can't put an access door between first floor and shop. Has got anything to stand on it. It's
a low low low low seal so we have to just wash from top to down. This is the oil drip. It's more
than half. It's thick grease. It's very thick. So we will wash them later on. So we got filters
for the oil drop. We took it out and really really greasy. They didn't touch it. They should do it
every week in caustic soda or something. Clean it every week but they didn't. The condition is
really bad. Anyway we will wash them with the jet wash so it will be all right. So motor is upstairs
for a health and safety purpose. I'll just stop it and then after we will take it again on top.
So this is the motor. Woods motor. It's really big and powerful.
When we all take the motor off we will see the canopy from top. So you can't put an access door.
Nothing to stand on. So this is the prime example I'm taking that video.
Without jet wash it's impossible to clean. So he's working on.
I'll strip that pipe. I'll take it out
section to section. When motor is out we can clean from top to down. All right we just took the
motors off. It's really greasy. That is bad. In six months that quick. That is the ducting.
What came. We will wash that one as well. So we don't need to put access door because that is
movable. Too much grease in. So all will be gone. Will be bare metal. This is the duct.
As I said this canopy you can see in the downstairs. And this is the top on the roof. So
you can't put an access door around here because you can't stand up or do anything. So you couldn't
reach it as a humanly. But when we will wash it it will make a difference. Hot water can touch.
Steam can touch everywhere. So that is the seal we put which is every job. Before the motor we
always put the new seal to stop the leakage. So that is pretty bad. We'll have a look after when
we will clean. How will be. So today is a good day for England. It is a really really good day
and sunny. That's why we took that video. Normally we don't take a lot of videos.
My earlier video it was about canopy cleaning. So I got a couple people comment it's a not ducting
cleaning which is I said canopy cleaning. But today one is canopy ducting and the fan motor.
So we just scraped it as much as we can scrape before we wash. We put the cartons. Everything
goes on the carton. So we took the motor blades off and we scraped around and we put some chemical
with the spray bottle and we will wash it. You can wash with the jet wash because the motor
it will not work if any water goes in. So we put the spray waiting 10 minutes. Then
after we'll scrape it around and then after we can put the blade back.
There's the blades came from the motor. You can wash this one with jet wash. I disconnected
so motor will not have any water in. We will wash by hand. But this one
will wash when we're washing the filters. It will wash with it. So preparation is done.
Canopy is ready to wash. We sealed it. Everything will go in the back.
Nothing will be get any water. We got double seal. It's ready to wash. Okay we are chemicaling.
Yeah that is nice and clean. We washed by hand the motor.
Yep I'm ready to wash. We have to wait 10-15 minutes to soak and then after all that grease
will go. We scrape it by hand as much as we can. The motor is clean. Nice bare metal. You can see
and then after we will chemical the blades which is downstairs. Then after we can wash.
We will chemical the blades. Wait 10 minutes. Get soaked so we can wash with the jet wash.
We can wash with the hot water that one is not the steam clean because steam clean
better for the canopy. But this is very hard grease. So we just wash the fan motor's blade.
It's nice and clean. Spotless. Bare metal. No any grease. It's nice and clean. Now we can put it
back and then after wash the ducting from top to down. Perfect. They must be waiting a minimum 20
minutes. They're really wet. So have a look how will be. It's so dirty. It's just in and out.
So we're trying to pressure wash. Beautiful. Every millimeter. You can never go with the
fingers or in a brush or or anything else. Just even the handles. It's 200 celsius. It's so hot.
It's worse with the diesel. So it doesn't matter how thick about the grease. So it's
jet wash always helps. We are going to put the chemical for stainless steel clean
after preparation to inside the ducting. That one hasn't got any seal. All they are normal
with the pop reed. And they have got no joint. No silicone around them. Nothing to blow or anything.
We're doing the steam wash. Not hot water cleaning. So it's little pressure and little
water. So we put the chemical and we will start washing from top to down. We put the chemical
first to inside the ducting. Now it's getting soaked upstairs and we are putting the chemical
inside the canopy now and inside the filter channels where the buffer filters are sitting
to make sure plenty chemical. By hand it could take so long and also we could miss maybe a couple
centimeters or millimeter on the corners. Steam wash 300 celsius. Three times stronger than
kettle water. It will take everything off. Even the pop reeds. Any corners.
Okay we are ready to wash. From here chemical soaked it enough. We put the blade
nice and clean and all around the drims nice. We wash the part of the ducting
outside. No more grease. Nice and clean. No more grease. Just galvanize. Bare metal. Okay
now we will wash the ducting. All water will go inside the bucket and we will take it collected
with us to the oil place. So no any mess downstairs. Everything goes with the sealing bag
to the straight to the plastic bag we are collecting.
Let the steam go. It's too hot. This works with the diesel. So it's a bare metal again.
And we will do the same job downstairs and then after we will take it with the industrial hoover
what water left inside the channels. So let it a couple minutes to wait. The motor is clean.
Perfect. We got nice clean ducting. I can see myself. Okay we will show the pictures
when we clean later on after finish. The black marks are just the carbon. This is the galvanized
burned it by the years. It's no any dirt. It's just no dirt. Okay we put the fan motor.
Now we're going to put the seal around so it will not be any grease coming. Not leaking.
Take this stick apart. You can see the picture that shiny in the downstairs. You can see the
motor's reflection. Okay cool. So we will put the ducting on now. So it will never leak. Okay we
are ready to wash now. With the jet wash. With the steam mode. We put the chemical.
Soaked it. It's ready to wash. I'll give you some demonstration again. And then after finish I'll
show it to the finish one. Because so much steam. You can't see anything inside. Maybe first 10
seconds. Can I try? Steam will not let you to see it. But after finish I'll show it more.
So basically what's happening is. With the hand if you try to clean. You couldn't get the around
the stoops. Every millimeter. Because water can go everywhere. That's next difference.
So after finish we will just show the another pictures. Thanks. That's just. We wiped it.
We finished it. Everything nice. Clean. No more grease. Shiny.
You can see the motor. No corners. Inside the channel. All ducting. And the fan motor.
No more grease. You can straight see. And inside the channel. Where is the filter sitting.
Everything is clean. Nice. Bare metal. Another happy customer. Will be. Yeah. So it was really
ducting. Canopy and the fan motor. Whole exhaust system cleaning. I didn't mention my first video.
It was canopy cleaning. But most people asked. Where is the ducting cleaning? Some people.
Actually not everybody. Which is I think somebody who does same similar job. Or who knows the
this business. But not my customer. Because my customer always sees what I'm doing in the
restaurant. Because they are always watching. So this is my job. Nice and clean. We use the
technology. I always say. We don't clean by hands. So every millimeter. Every stoops.
Every inch. Every corner. Always same. No grease. Cool. Thank you for watching everybody. Bye bye.
