That kind of sucks. Totally does. Come all the way out here and find out that the road's closed but you know there's a washout ahead. Well we did see the little pull-out section out there. Yeah it went down towards the river it looked like. Yeah we'll go down there and take a look. Let's go turning around. Yes. So we are at Harvey Creek wreck site which is south of between Fernie and Sparwood. Close to the U.S. border. If we kept on going on another trail which as you saw earlier today it was closed due to a washout. But I'm gonna put this campsite into my Gaia GPS. What did I say this was? Harvey? Harvey something. Happy Harvey Harry. This is gonna be squinchy. Just stay in first gear and don't slow down. Okay. No don't slow down. Let's go. It's a hard bottom. Okay yeah. Once I got into it I realized it was the first part was a little squishy. Yeah. That's when I was like uh-oh. What do you think? Same thing? Mm-hmm. I think we'll be fine. First gear and keep going? Yeah. Oh my god okay. Just don't stop. First gear keep going. Good job. Hard to tell when it's squishy stuff here and then you can see a little deeper. It's a table. You don't turn around it? Yep. Go right and look around. Okay. But I wasn't going anywhere. Turn turn turn. Okay. That's a cup two peppers. Okay. I'll do a yellow on a bit of shape. Cooking a special Kathy's birthday dinner. Steak and peppers. It's Kathy's birthday? How old is Kathy? 39 again? Yes. For the 12th time. I came walking up and went boof and it just like flew everywhere. It was such a disappointment. All right here's all the fixings for the for the steak. Oh no. Bailed. That's okay. Do you like some butter or something like that maybe? That was jalapeno sausage? Yeah. Wow. Fire cooked meal. That's the best. So this spot here is called Pollock Recreation Site and it's quite a nice little site. As just so you know all recreation sites in British Columbia are free of use. They are user maintained and I gotta say I have yet to come to one of these rec sites and find garbage. It's so clean. But so we went exploring today. Checked out a whole bunch of different sites. One section of road you'll probably saw that in the earlier in the video. The roads were getting washed out. I mean heavy water flowing across the track. So that kind of had us concerned. We were going to camp somewhere else. We thought let's get up higher so we don't get caught maybe if there's a heavy rain or snow melt. And then we turned around and kept exploring and we found ourselves this beautiful site here. Have a little treat for you later. Do you? Really? We already bought you presents. Yes.
