A study vlog showing you what a day in my life as a Computer Science student at Imperial College London looks like. In today's vlog I did some programming for my NFT crypto project, visited Canary Wharf and ate KBBQ.
So I just woke up and I got a quick shoulder workout in.
I decided not to go to the gym today because I have some work I want to do in the morning
and also my shoulder workout routine is quite quick.
It's like four or five exercises long and now I'm going to shower and have a protein
shake so I can start doing some work because I need to go out this afternoon.
Okay, so I just got done with the work I wanted to do this morning.
So now I'm going to be looking around different neighbourhoods in London because my current
flat lease is ending in July and I need to find a new place to live for when I start
working in August.
So for the last three years I've been living near Imperial College campus but when I start
working I'm going to be working in the city of London.
So ideally I need to find a place close to the city and I'll probably bring my laptop
so I can do a bit more coding and work on my project.
I'm also going to go with my friends so I think we are meeting now so yeah, I need to go.
So we're in Canary Wharf now and we're inside Jubilee Park.
We're here just to see what the vibe is like during a work day for the city.
So I think now it's just past like the people's lunch time but we're probably just going to
stay here until after work and then see what the vibe is like once people get off work.
And right now we're going to go to a Starbucks to try and find somewhere to study and I am
with my friend Terence.
Terence!
So we've been working for a while now, a couple of hours, and I realised I never told you
guys what my project was.
So basically my project is about NFTs and I'm basically researching the malpractices
that go into minting and trading NFTs.
So right now I'm scraping the data from the Ethereum blockchain and looking at past NFT
releases, specifically the minting transactions.
And then I'm also looking at different Ethereum technologies such as Flashbots, which is a
technology that is meant to counter fraud running in Ethereum but it can also be used
to exploit NFT minting.
So I'm looking at the two correlations.
So I've still got quite a bit of work to do so I'm going to get back to that and then
later we're going to go for dinner.
Alright, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
So we just found a Chinese supermarket called Tiantian market in Canary Wharf.
It's actually really good because it has a lot of food options. I think it's like the biggest
Chinese supermarket I've seen in London and yeah the prices are quite affordable. So if
you were to live in Canary Wharf I think it'd be really good because there's a lot of food
options here. I think we're finished with exploring Canary Wharf now and now we're
going to go get some dinner. I think we're going to get some Korean barbecue so see you there.
Can't you see, I made, I made a mistake. Please just look me in my face, tell me everything's okay.
Only you, can't you see, I made, I made a mistake.
Please just look me in my face, tell me everything's okay.
How do I make it?
