Hey everyone, we are back at the Garage Sale Warehouse where they have garage sales seven
days a week. It's like heaven. 365 days a year. Okay, let's go see what we can find. Are you ready?
Yeah. Let's do this. Oh, look down. Look down. Whoa, that's a big runner, isn't it? Yeah, it is.
$250. That's not bad. That's a good price. It really is. It's a really beautiful one too.
That's cool. Oh my gosh, $75. I really like this for me. What do you think, Selena? That's really
cool. I've never seen like ladies on it. Me neither. Let's see if we can do some bundles
back here. Yeah, a bundle deal. Yeah. Is this all one dealer, you think? I think it's the owner's stuff.
I think $75 basically.
This is, I'm like so excited already. We just got started today
and we're going to keep shopping. There you go. Grab a cart and have a good time.
We will. Thank you so much. Very well. Oh, here's another rug. Oh, that's got good colors too. Yeah,
$100 on this one. The edging makes me think this isn't, that it's like mass produced.
Wow. Too bad these didn't have like cool arms on them. They would have been neat
for her office. They're $49. Oh, that's cute. That's pretty. Oh, I thought you were looking
at the little tea set. You think that I would be pointing you at the tea set, Selena? That's so
cute. Come on. Don't you know me? Oh, I like that lady dish right there. That's cool. Is this your
booth here, sir? It is, ma'am. There's a little dish in here that's metal and it's like, looks
like Art Nouveau, like a fan shape. And there's the lady all just like with her arm up. Fabulous.
She's just having a glorious day. Yeah. Can't take it anymore. That's cool. Oh, it's heavy.
Yeah. Heavier than I expected. Well, it's 20. I thought it was eight.
Thank you. Might be a little too much for you. Okay. Thank you. Yeah, I understand.
I was going to show you a little bit here. There's a cute little church pio. It's so sweet. I love
when people put these on their front porches. Look how cute that is. This is a need for the
office. That's perfect. I love how Lauren's Selena tape dispenser. One time she had all these like
crazy cool eighties dresses. Like, oh, this one, this is still here. It's a very dynasty
or golden girls dynasty. I would have worn this if I was like in my thirties, in the eighties.
It needs a bigger harp on it to pull up the shade. It's only
a 30. It's only $30. I don't think it's made nice with brass fittings. It's really,
I mean, it's heavy. It's not cheap. I think I can get behind it. I think the colors are cool.
I think the colors are going to be great because they're going to have the greens,
the pinks. We've talked about a gold rug. I got to put it down because he's so heavy.
He, he eats lots of treats. This is our first thing for our office. Everybody.
The colors are so cool. Yeah. We'll put a bigger harp on it. Cause he's getting hidden in this.
Even as a cool thing, even took that off and put like an Edison bulb in it. So you can really see
him. Yeah. That'd be cool too. I'm not, I'm very particular about lampshades. Yeah. It can make
break your lamp for sure. Yeah. That one right now is breaking it, but he's so cool.
Put it in there. Okay. Moving on. I'm feeling better now. We found one treasure. Yes.
Oh yes. Backstage. Yes. I love secret areas.
Oh, look at those big pictures. Whoa. So pretty too. Oh my gosh. Did I buy too soon?
Oh, that's cute. I like this one. That's cute. Oh my word. Those big pictures.
Are you kidding me? No. Whoa. Cool. Oh, that's pretty too. Wow. Yeah. There's art throughout
the store. Oh, and over here, there's like saddle blankets. Yes. Yeah. I like Western everything.
Let's go ahead and add this to the pile. I like the one you're standing on. Yeah. This one's
really pretty too. Is there more art or pottery? Oh wow. Oh yeah. Laura's eyes. Oh, look at this
carving. Don't you like those? Don't you like them? I like these. Yes. Those are cool. Those
are pretty. Look at the sink too. Oh, you have such wonderful stuff. Oh my gosh. This is all
from one estate. No way. Wow. And you haven't seen anything. Bags and bags. Oh, that one's
pretty. Yeah. I like the woven one. Oh my gosh. This is such a great day. That's cute. This one's
really cute. If you know anyone who's traveling, I have. No one's traveling right now. What size
shoes you were? Like eight, eight and a half. Yeah, we're both the same.
She was a seven and a half. Oh wow. Oh, Laura, look in here. Woolly things. Oh no. It's amazing
how much someone can collect. I'm going to try not to make a mess. The lady's name is Ann Ford.
The lady who you got it from? Yes, her estate. She likes the things I like, the wool and leather.
Wow. So one of the things that I learned she had,
I don't think it was this house, but she had a house in Palermo.
Oh, what's this wreath? Move out the way. Oh, it's a butterfly Dresden wreath.
Oh, it's beautiful. Nine. Oh, do you know what this is?
All the fairies just fell on me. Oh, it's beautiful.
I love it. I love it. Look, okay. Dragonflies, flies, butterflies,
ribbon. Oh, it's so cute. And I love that it's coppery golds. Oh, this is really cool because I
can have this up like year round. My other one has lots of Christmasy critters on it,
but this one's butterflies and butterflies are welcome all times of the year. I love it so much.
These are like the rings that Laura and I found, the cladda betrothal rings, but this is a door
knocker. So wouldn't that be cute if you had your first house, you could put like a house warming
present for someone. That'd be really cool. But my soul person's gone. You guys, you gotta play
the sad music, like the sad fiddle cues right now. Oh my gosh. Yeah, that's cool. I have a
real bronze one. This is brass. That is cool. What was the symbolism behind it? Someone said
I think it has something to do with like health and wealth in your family. Like the
turtle symbolizes, I think the health and stability and then the crane is the wealth side
of it. Like, yeah, there's a lot of symbolism in it. And mine has like a little baby crane.
So maybe it has to do with family health and wealth. I can't remember, but yeah. Very cool.
Oh my gosh. Oh, look what brand it is. Balenciaga, hand rolled silk.
Please be in good condition. Please be in good condition.
Is it good? Is it good? I think it's good. Oh, and you should wear that for fall.
Oh, you guys, this is fancy. That is butterfly. Very like Balenciaga, Chanel, Dior, that kind of
fancy. Yes. You guys ready to go to the second room? This is only one half of the entire store.
We've already gotten to go see the sneak peek upstairs. We've dominated this down section and
now it's time to go to the box. I love this little clutch. It's probably from the 60s.
Roses tapestry. It's like in perfect condition. Oh my gosh, it's like perfect condition.
That's really cute, huh? You can almost wear it with my dress today. Six dollars? Yeah,
it's really cute. We need a pillow in our studio. Oh wow, that's cool. The colors in it are really good.
Wouldn't that be pretty? That is pretty, yeah. Maybe if we have like a little bench or something.
It's only ten dollars. Let's get it. Should we get it? Yeah, we don't know where to put it, but let's get it.
Here, let me get this giant chunk of wood for us. That is not firewood. Oh no, no, don't break my thing.
Don't break my thing.
What? What if we have this as like an entry? We come in against the wall. We could have a mirror above it.
Two griffins. My dining room table has four. My island has four griffins. Look at that. I will raise you.
I raise you two griffins.
This is why we're friends.
Time lapse this baby. This is the most we've ever gotten in one place for sure. Yeah, it's super
exciting because it's not very often when we're not at an estate sale that we get to actually hear
the history of who owned these pieces. She had that cool newspaper clipping where we could see
her face. Like that was really neat. Yeah. That entire upstairs she shared with us was all that
one lady's estate. Super cool. She collected pieces that fit your style, pieces that fit my style.
She clearly just had a love of antiques and quality made pieces that hold their value. You
guys, look at this haul. Yeah. This is the most I think I've ever spent in one stop. Yeah. I mean that
kind of broke the bank. You think we have enough lunch money now? Yeah. You're buying me lunch
though because I spent way more. Well today was just incredible. I never could have hoped that
we were going to find so many great things. My favorite thing about today is that Selena found
things that are so her. She ended up with a lot of the really feminine, beautiful floral pieces
and I ended up with lots of old wool rugs and carved wood. My favorite. This one was a really
neat find because I'm always on the lookout for hand-carved folk art pieces but they're not very
easy to come by. This one has a very Polynesian look to it and I think I'm going to be keeping
this one for myself. I've got to do a bit more research on it but I ended up getting this for
only $70 and pieces like this typically sell in high-end vintage shops for anywhere between $300
and $500. Finding high quality antique rugs is really really hard to do especially when you're
going to a place like this where they know the value of what they have. Selena and I were very
excited to be able to support some local businesses during this time. A lot of these places don't have
online presence like we do and so without customer shopping in there they have no sales
and I think that this is a really neat opportunity for those of us that have an online presence
to be able to go and support our local small businesses and then we can find items that we can
you know buy from a dealer, support the dealer, support the shop and then we can resolve them on
our own website, support ourselves. It's kind of just this cycle that vintage goes through
and I think it's kind of a neat opportunity right now for us to be able to do.
Oh my gosh you guys I'm so excited about today's finds. Look at all this great stuff.
I didn't capture this one on film but I did find this one there as well and it was $25
for the stamp that you use to make these prints. Some of these items are going to be up for grabs
in my upcoming sale which is going to be September 4th 2020 and the first Friday sale is going to
launch at 3 p.m pacific time. I think this one I might keep for myself. It's so good. It's that
perfect tan leather. I don't know. I know for sure this one's going to be up for grabs. This is going
to be up for grabs and I will probably list this even though it would make more sense to save it
for this winter but you know it's never a bad idea to buy off season so I'll probably have that up
for grabs too. This one's really neat because I think this one would be stunning as a wall hanging
or draped over the back of a couch or a chair. It's got great neutral colors in it. That's a really
fun one and then this one here is kind of neat because this was actually a saddle blanket so it
went over the horse and we were talking with the lady about how this is what what is it the horn
Selena? I think we decided it was called the horn where you hold on to the horse when you're on the
saddle and I think that this one obviously someone could buy this and use it for exactly that purpose
but I think this would also be a beautiful wall hanging or also really pretty as like a seat
cover if you had a chair that you didn't want to recover but you just wanted something beautiful
to put over it that wasn't so permanent and then you could put another pillow in the back and it
would kind of hide that but it's incredible. Look at how tight woven this is. It's old wool,
beautiful colors, beautiful design and this one is going to be coming to my next shop sale as well.
Tooled leather purse. I like this one because look it's got the little silver button on there
kind of pops down. It's a good bag. This is one of my favorite vintage Japanese stoneware patterns.
It's the horizon pattern and even though I don't collect it for myself I guess in a way I collect
it for collectors because I always pick these up when I see them. Someday when we can go on vacation
or Selena and I can go on another picking adventure I thought that this would be the perfect
overnight bag to take with me. I'm always looking for this tan leather and this one's a good duffel
size bag so this one I'm going to keep for myself for the day when we can travel again. Oh my gosh
I'm laughing because I'm sure you can hear those drums right now. The neighbor boy just decided to
start playing his drums but I only have one item left. This one is a 1960s Fratelli pottery piece
that was made for Raymoor and this one I am keeping for myself because it is just such an incredible
find. It's got the stamp here on the back and it's got these beautiful ladies in the pink and blue
dresses. It's like Laura and Selena right there. And I've already got all three of the rugs listed
in my shop right now so go check out leftcoastrevivals.com if you want to snag one of
