EXTRACT | THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO 'Voi signor, che giusto siete' Mozart - Royal College of Music

You sir who are you must listen to us Or come attached to my lord They are crazy foolish and without any sense Who came to speak to them A marital commitment that is stubborn with me I understand Oh silence I am the one who will judge He has chosen a lawyer I come to make his defense The legitimate claims which I now reveal I come to speak Oh silence I am here to judge I like a man of the world code I have come here to testify to the promised marriage Oh no silence wheels I fear We will read the contract Everything must go smoothly I am not guilty I am sentenced Is that the contract I am hopeful I seek another life in mercy And if you desire you may Choose the pitta The pitta I seek another life in mercy
