Daniel Behle/German Hornsound: Heimat

After getting to know each other for the first time in 2017, tenor Daniel Behle and the horn quartet German Hornsound decided to create a project together that would be designed as a digital format, a physical recording and also a concert format. A first path had already begun to emerge: It was to be about music of the Romantic period. The central concept was to be "Heimat" (= "Homeland"), that specifically German term that does not have a 100% accurate equivalent in most languages. But soon the area of musical "romanticism" was left behind and music of the 20th century was included, from chanson to Schlager.
