Hey, don't take me soon,
cause I am here for a reason.
Sometimes in my tears I drown,
but I never let it get me down.
And when negativity surrounds,
I know someday it'll all turn around.
All my life I've been waiting for,
I've been praying for,
for the people to say
that we don't want to fight no more,
there'll be no more wars,
and our children will play.
One day, one day, one day.
It's not about win or lose,
cause we all lose when we feed
on the souls of the innocent.
Blood-drenched pavement,
keep on moving,
though the waters stay raging.
And in this maze,
you may lose your way, your way.
It might drive you crazy,
but don't let it phase you no way, no way.
Sometimes in my tears I drown,
but I never let it get me down.
And when negativity surrounds,
I know someday it'll all turn around.
Cause all my life I've been waiting for,
I've been praying for,
for the people to say
that we don't want to fight no more,
there'll be no more wars,
and our children will play.
One day, one day, one day.
We're Leelava here,
founder of LifeFest Inside,
a non-profit organization
that inspires, empowers,
and educates people of all backgrounds
to lead a life of kindness.
Helping people see just how amazing
and significant they truly are.
And so to kick off the new year,
we headed out onto the trains in New York City
to spread joy, cheer,
and the loads of kindness.
Giving out free copies of my book,
Kindness Boomerang,
a guide to incorporating kindness
into your daily life.
For each day of the year,
an act, quote,
and a short reflection,
showing us that it's the simple things
that really matter.
LifeFest Inside gained international acclaim
when my short film,
Kindness Boomerang, went viral,
reaching hundreds of millions of people globally,
inspiring them to incorporate
positive change into their life.
And now comes Kindness Boomerang, the book,
giving people the chance to create
their very own boomerang of kindness
and become a catalyst for positive change.
After all,
what better time for kindness than now?
