This Reliable trailer is custom just for the Ford GT right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Reliable Carrier has built us five just initially.
A brand new trailer to be able to fit the Ford GT in.
That way, up on the top deck we can have three cars up on the top deck,
equally spaced, so that whenever we open up the side doors,
the door on the GT will actually be able to open.
So you don't have to crawl through the window?
No, you don't have to crawl through the window.
There's no damage or risk of damage to the cars.
So as you can see here, that door is all the way up the front.
So he'll be able to open the door here, jump in and back it out for the entire trailer right?
As soon as he gets the tail lift down, I'll get in, I'll finish mine checked.
The driver is going to take the straps off and then I'll back it straight out.
Oh, you back it out?
I'll back it out for him.
You're responsible.
Yep, and it's on me.
I don't want to back it out.
That's right.
I don't want to damage any wheels.
Not yet.
And just for quick reference, Steve, what is your full purpose here?
Yeah, so my job title is the Ford GT Delivery Specialist.
So basically I fly around the country and I do a big orientation with the new owners.
He's talking about the Ford GT.
And it's basically showing the new owner how to actually look after the car.
How to drive it.
Just a few little quirks on the car.
The different drive modes and also all the important things of how to actually hook up the battery charger.
What about launch control?
And launch control.
What?
All the cool stuff.
Alright, launch control.
That's what we need to do.
We'll do it all.
We've got to start from launch control and work backwards.
Okay, here we go.
Start up.
First time entering the garage, I guess.
This is amazing.
Amazing, right?
So much presence, right?
So much presence.
Nothing on the road.
Nothing close.
Nothing.
Carbon wheels though.
Yeah.
I see.
Oh, look at that carbon wheel.
It's a little like smutty.
Someone wiped something here, right?
Number 57 of 2018.
Carbon fiber wheels.
Standard interior.
No upgrades there.
It's a full Alcantara.
Gloss carbon everywhere around the sides.
Yellow, black stripes.
Red calipers.
And regular exhaust.
I think that rounds up all the options.
This piece carbon here.
Can't believe I got it after two years.
Amazing.
So the interior looks all completely wrapped up.
We're wrapping all the presents?
Yeah.
That's the number 57 cover.
Yeah.
That's awesome.
This is the moment of reality.
That's it.
There we go.
All that piece of paper.
That's it.
Sounds like a fair swap.
Paper for this?
Yeah, paper for one of these.
There you go.
Here, I'll give you this side of your receiver.
You won't even notice the receiver.
So you really need this?
Yeah.
It's a 2018 Ford GT.
Yep.
It's here.
Got that.
This car was designed to go back to Le Mans and win, right?
Sure.
In 2016, 50 years after the 66 win.
Right.
So when they started designing it, they knew how to win the race.
And it was all about efficiency and fuel efficiency.
Okay.
The less pit stops they can have, the more track time you can have.
Obviously, the more laps you're going to burn, you're going to do it.
So when they started designing it, they knew how much fuel in the 24-hour time that they could get in the car efficiently.
Right.
Because it's all gravity-fed from the tanks.
So as soon as they knew the fuel number, they knew how much horsepower they could make from that amount of fuel.
Okay.
Then they started drawing the car, and it was all down to aero efficiency.
Yeah.
Le Mans is a low downforce track.
You don't need big wings at Le Mans.
It's straight lines and a couple of chicanes.
That's why it looks like this.
It's designed for aero efficiency.
Right.
A lot of the aerodynamic downforce is created underneath the car.
Yeah.
Anytime you create downforce underneath the car, there's a very, very low drag penalty.
You're going to put wings on the top, and it's immediate drag penalty compared to how much downforce you're going to get.
Sure.
Underbody downforce is almost for free.
Okay.
So that's why there's a lot of front, especially like the front underwing and the big diffuser on the rear.
That's where most of the downforce is.
So which parts actually move on the car?
The rear wing?
The rear wing moves.
And there's something in the front?
Yeah.
We've also got some cold chutes in the front that will basically turn on and turn off the front underwing.
And can you see that from the outside?
Yeah.
You can show that.
Yeah.
You want to have a look at that now?
So when the wing is up right now in high downforce, we need the underwing to be able to create as much downforce as possible.
Yeah.
Right?
So this acts as a real splitter to split the air underneath and also over the top of the car.
Okay.
When the wing goes down, we want to try and aero balance the car.
Yeah.
So when the wing is down at the back, we need to lose grip on the front as well.
And we do that by opening these chutes up.
If we allow extra air into the underwing from somewhere other than underneath the car, as in through here,
it will stall the underwing, which will then aero balance the car.
So which piece actually moves?
You can feel it or you can't see it?
With the wings up...
Yeah.
Yeah, you can see it right there.
Like right there?
Oh yeah.
So that opens and closes.
Yeah.
That is closed right now to activate the underwing.
Whenever the wing is down, that will open up and it will stall the underwing.
Gotcha.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then also obviously the different ride heights.
Right now we're in high ride height normal mode.
Okay.
And then when it goes down to low, it just seals it off to the road.
Sure.
Okay.
Even down to the door handles.
There's no big clunky door handle.
Right.
So to open the car, if you've got the key in your pocket,
you don't need to go beep, beep to actually unlock it.
Keep the key in your pocket.
Okay.
It knows that you belong to the car.
Right.
And then it's just going to be back of the hand and open it.
All right.
First time getting in.
Not bad.
Easier to get into than the Performante, that's for sure.
It is tight.
This is a tight fit.
Yeah.
Wow.
My arm is resting where someone's going to sit.
Right here.
We like to call it intimate rather than tight.
It's an intimate cockpit.
Literally, where I'm sitting, this is someone's space.
Right here.
Oh.
That cluster.
Yeah.
Wow.
It is not like a lot of supercars where the driver is sat way to the outside
and there's a massive center console.
Right.
Now we wanted the center of gravity to be honestly as low and as close to the center as we could.
Hence the big door seals.
This is nuts.
The small center.
I mean, I can't even reach the pedals.
Nope.
The seat doesn't move forward.
The seat does not move.
But don't panic because the pedals do.
I knew that.
I knew the seat doesn't move, but I still feel like I'm way far back.
No, the pedals do move.
This better move too.
Yeah, everything moves towards you.
I need longer arms.
Okay.
So to move the pedals, right, you're going to pull that strap.
This strap here?
It's got to be pulled straight.
Okay.
Got it.
Pull it straight.
It's going to release the pedal box.
Okay.
All right.
And then you kind of just keep it pulled and then push the pedals away to wherever you
need.
Yeah, that's two clicks.
You want to go forward a couple more clicks.
Yeah.
Yeah, probably about there somewhere.
Okay.
And then just double check that you can get the throttle all the way down and, of course,
the brake all the way down.
Dude, these tiny little pedals.
Can you get them down there?
Yeah, wow.
Okay.
Now, this has to come way forward, right?
Yeah.
So to move the wheel, right, there's two adjustments on the wheel.
Okay.
The first adjustment is going to be the telescope to bring the wheel towards you.
Okay.
I'm going to hold this lever down.
Yep.
You pull it towards you.
It's pretty stiff.
And that's all the way out on that one.
The second adjustment...
I mean, you're supposed to be kind of arms out, a little bent in, right?
Yeah, yeah.
You want it closer to you.
So we'll undo this one.
That's as far as it goes.
No, there's one more click right here.
So you're going to undo that.
Now pull it towards you again.
Oh, wow.
There you go.
Wow.
That comes out a lot.
I guess it has to, right?
Because...
Yeah.
We have to fit everybody in it.
Well, I can't see the dash now.
Yeah.
So lift up to wherever you want.
Does the seat go up and down?
The seat does not go up and down.
The back of the seat...
Does it tilt up?
The back of the seat comes forward.
How do we do that?
Just lift that lever.
Spring loaded.
Maybe that's why I'm sitting like this.
No.
You want to be about there.
That's it.
Oh, this is just up and down.
Yeah, and there's a little bit of telescope on it.
Oh.
Okay.
So I think that's where we're good here.
Yeah.
So the whole car's carbon, right?
Yes.
It's a full carbon tub.
Everything's carbon.
There's no sound deadening in the whole car...
Okay.
...apart from that piece of Alcantara right between you.
Right between the seats.
This piece right here.
Oh, okay.
On the bulkhead.
That's it.
That's your whole sound, heat, and everything.
Sure.
So when you're driving it, this car will be a warm experience.
It's not a cold car.
We've got AC though.
It's going to be windows with AC on.
Because the coolant pipes are actually in this sill right here.
Sure.
So you do get a lot of heat in.
Yeah.
The dashboard's carbon.
The dash comes out of the mold at the same time as the rest of the car.
Okay.
So this is structurally part of the car.
This right here is structurally part of the car?
This is not like a normal car where the dashboard swings in and bolts in.
This comes out of the mold with the rest of the car.
It's all tub.
Yeah.
And the tub is the same on this car as the GT race car.
Same tub.
So the only time that this car separates on the production line is when they're putting a roll cage in.
Okay.
This car does have a cage in it.
Right.
But it obviously doesn't have the door bars.
It's in here.
Yeah.
We saw the cage.
But up until that point, it's exactly the same tub.
Wow.
So this could have been born a race car going to Sebring all day, don't it?
Yeah.
Could have been that same car.
Yeah.
Yep.
To make the dashboards come alive, we'll stay off the brake and just push the red start button.
All right.
And that's like ignition on.
Okay.
Accessory mode.
A lot of clicks going on.
Yep.
There's a lot of gizmos in this car, so it's just finding out where is everything.
Where's the ride height?
Where is everything?
Yeah.
Wait, hold on a second.
They don't give you a full tank of gas?
No, we don't.
Nope.
That's...
You always get a full tank of gas and you get a new car.
Well, for shipping purposes, we put five gallons in.
Well, where'd the guy who sold me the car go?
Yeah.
Five gallons?
They knew you.
What?
Oh, they already knew me.
That's right.
They knew I'd run a race.
That's true.
Come on.
Get out of here.
I literally don't put any more five gallons.
Really?
Yeah.
Okay.
Race weight.
Yeah.
I always speak to be light.
But still, I want my gas in cans so I can put it back in.
I want my gas in cans.
I'm like, it's just you.
All right.
You're good.
I want to go over the steering wheel controls, right?
Yep.
Okay.
So, I'm just going to turn it on without starting the car.
No brake.
Okay.
Push the button.
We got little LEDs on here.
That's for shift lights.
Yeah, you got your shift lights.
Okay.
Great.
That's going to sequentially start over here and then go all the way across for when you're
going to be pulling the next gear.
So, right now, we're just going to cancel all the messages by hitting okay.
Sure.
Yep.
And that's back to our normal home screen.
Okay.
Steering wheel controls.
They're the same.
Okay.
Now, the next set.
This looks complicated, but it's not.
The push to talk on the side is going to be so you can communicate with the sync system.
Okay.
So, it'll just be like one hit and then say a command like call home, call wife, call
whoever.
Gotcha.
The okay button in the center is any time that you are acknowledging any messages on
the dash.
Right.
We've just noticed that the doors are open.
We know that, so you click okay to cancel it.
Up and down.
Just toggle it.
There you go.
Yep.
That's how you get to your trip.
Okay.
And then toggle it up again.
We've got tire pressures.
We've got tire temperatures too?
No, just pressures only.
No temperatures.
Okay.
And then next one's coolant.
And then it goes back home again.
Sure.
So, you've got four separate pages.
Okay.
And then going down just does it all backwards.
Okay.
Yep.
Got it.
The back arrow right there.
If you want to hit the back arrow, that's how we get behind the dash.
Oh, my favorite.
Launch control.
Here we go.
All right.
So, to be able to turn launch control on, hit okay on the dash.
Yep.
We've now got LC over here in white.
I like that.
So, LC is now in the background sitting there.
So, if you pull up at the traffic lights and you want to play with LC, you go full brakes,
full accelerator, in drive.
Yeah.
Just both feet all the way down.
Yeah.
The car will then bring itself up to right about 3,000 revs or just over.
Okay.
Gotcha.
When that LC turns green, you're at max boost.
Okay.
So, it builds boost off the line of the McLaren.
Yeah.
Okay.
Go off the brake and go.
And it's going to be limited wheel spin.
It'll control wheel spin, throttle position, and everything.
Okay.
All the way.
Okay.
So, you probably want to do that in VMAX mode if you were just doing like a quarter mile
race.
Ah.
Because you want spoiler down.
Yes.
Okay.
Yep.
Okay.
Right now.
Performance shift indicator.
That's probably a good one to do.
What's that?
So, hit it and go into that.
That is going to be for up here.
Yep.
So, just leave it right there and it will always come on any time that you need it.
I think we'll leave that on.
Yep.
All right.
Lighting, locks, remote start.
Oh, it's got a remote start?
Yep.
If you've got the Ford Pass app on your phone.
Okay.
And that is activated in remote start, you'll be able to start the car.
Drive modes.
Yep.
So, right now we're in normal.
Okay.
There's five settings.
There's five different drive modes.
Right now we're in normal, which is like middle setting.
Okay.
To go down one click, that's going to be into wet.
So, in wet mode, it's going to slow down the throttle response.
Okay.
So, it'll stop you jumping on the power and blowing the rear tires off.
Okay, gotcha.
It's going to roll into power a little bit softer for you.
All right.
One more click is V max.
Yep.
Notice we go in, but it doesn't go in here.
Okay.
Because we need the engine running right to pull the car down with a higher pressure.
Okay.
That's all the way.
It doesn't go any further that direction.
It stops turning.
Yeah.
So, now you've got to go back to middle, which is normal.
Okay.
And then up the other direction, you have sport.
Okay.
Sport mode is normal ride height, just like this.
Okay.
But everything else is turned on.
Right.
So, the anti-lag's turned on.
The shift patterns are a lot more aggressive.
The throttle response is a lot more aggressive.
Everything's turned up.
So, everything's, it's got the same parameters as track mode.
Okay.
But in high ride height.
Okay, gotcha.
So, sport and track is just dropping it lower.
It's just different ride heights.
Spoiler X the same.
Yeah.
Every other car behaves the same.
In sport mode, the spoiler, the rear wing comes up and down at its own.
Okay.
Predetermined speeds.
Okay, gotcha.
In track mode, it's up all the time.
Right, right.
You know.
So, like, and then same, like, one more click.
Yeah.
In track mode.
Okay.
It will not go in on the dash.
Sure.
Because we need the hydraulic pressure to pull it down.
Okay, gotcha.
To pull the car down and lift that rear wing.
All right.
So, right now, track and VMAX are opposite ends of the dial because they do completely
different things.
Mm-hmm.
Track mode is down with wings.
Mm-hmm.
For full downforce.
VMAX is down with no wings for 216 miles an hour top speed.
Okay.
Yeah.
Gotcha.
Hence why they're opposite ends of the dial.
Sure.
Yes, it goes down onto the low setting.
Okay.
But it does different things.
Okay.
Do not drive the car on the street in track or VMAX.
Okay.
It's way, way too low.
Okay.
Like, when it goes down, it goes down to about two and three quarter inches.
Okay.
70 millimeters.
Yep.
That is way, way too low for public road use.
Okay.
So, that's only for pure track use.
Okay.
You have to be stopped with the vehicle in park so you can get it into track or VMAX.
Oh, interesting.
Yeah.
You can't be, like, rolling in drive and wanting to drop it on the roll.
You have to be stopped in pit lane, parked, because it's such a big change.
Yeah.
It changes everything.
Everything needs to be stopped, kind of taking a breath.
Okay.
Are we ready for this?
Yes.
Click.
Gotcha.
Boom.
And then we're into that mode.
All right.
Okay.
Other things inside of the car.
Can you take it out of track mode?
You can take it out of track mode.
But you can't put it in track mode.
You can be driving and take it out of track mode.
But you can't put it back in until you start in park.
Yeah.
Put the car in park.
Okay.
Got it.
Okay.
There we go.
So, what did you say?
Lift here?
Yep.
Right up.
That's it.
That's as high as it goes?
That's it.
One strut.
There's only one strut.
Yep.
Okay.
So, yep.
Kind of hangs a little to the left there.
Yes, it does.
Okay.
It's not quite adding another strut.
Sure.
So, other things in here.
We've got the battery charger.
It's a special lithium battery charger.
I'll show you how to hook that up and where to hook it up.
Okay.
Other things in here.
You've got the front license plate bracket.
Right.
That we don't need.
Okay.
That's for sure.
Other things.
This is your tool kit.
But that's your full luggage compartment.
That's all we get.
That is it.
There's no more luggage space.
That's it.
Wow.
Sounds like you need a brand new 4GT camera bag.
You can fit, what, maybe four GoPros in there?
Wow.
That's tiny.
Four GoPros, a toothbrush, and a credit card.
There you go.
Perfect.
You've got this tool.
This is a, this does not get the wheels off.
Okay.
This is a multi-purpose tool.
Okay.
The first thing is, if you ever break the car on a track day, right, you get hold of this
and you beat yourself over the head with it for breaking your car.
Right?
Okay.
The second thing this is useful for is putting the vehicle in neutral.
Okay.
Right?
So if the engine's dead, we cannot start the engine.
Okay.
Remember, to get it out of park, the only way to get it out of park is to have the engine
running.
Okay.
If the engine will not start, you need this.
This manually puts it into neutral.
Okay.
Right?
And it's used, you see the grommet in the floor right there?
Yes.
You're going to pull the grommet out.
Okay.
Push this directly into the top of the transmission.
Okay.
Push and hold this lever forwards.
Yep.
We're now in neutral.
Okay.
You've got to hold it forwards.
Uh-huh.
We can now load it on a truck.
You have to hold it the whole time?
You've got to hold it.
While they load the car?
It's going to take three people to load this.
Right.
Okay.
It's going to take the recovery truck driver.
A scared dog.
He's like, I must try.
Oh no, where'd he go?
He's like, no, I almost made it.
It's going to take three people to actually load this car.
It's going to take the recovery truck driver with the winch controller.
The portafilter.
Okay.
One guy inside steering it.
Another guy to walk with it and hold that.
Other guy back here holding it in neutral.
You can feel like a positive action that you're in neutral?
It's a spring loaded.
Once you push it, you're going to know that you let it start.
To be able to check the engine oil, we need to have the engine hot.
Okay.
Up to operating temperature.
Sure.
So start the engine.
Let's get it up to operating temperature.
Once it's at operating temperature, turn the engine off, wait two minutes, but not more
than three minutes.
Okay.
Because we've timed the drain back.
Okay.
Timed.
Burned your hand.
Yes.
Burned my hand on the alloy cap.
Using a rag, undo the cap.
And then there you go.
There's your dipstick.
Okay.
And what are we looking at for the level?
That blank space in the middle?
Anywhere between here is good to go.
Okay.
Yeah.
All right.
So take it out, wipe it.
Yeah.
Put it all the way back in.
Uh-huh.
Screw it all the way in.
Okay.
And then take it back out.
Read it on the second time also.
So there's no way to read the engine level from inside the car?
No.
That's it.
Right there.
Okay.
But if it's low, the car would know and tell you?
It's just a pressure gauge.
It's not a level gauge.
So this is your level.
Okay.
This is your engine oil level.
Got to look at it.
Manual.
Yeah.
So you check the level.
Well, that's why he was using the rag.
That's why I was using the rag.
I didn't think it was that hot already.
I don't think I got it on there.
Yeah, that's good.
I did?
Yeah.
It looks like it's at an angle.
No?
The cap is straight.
The tank is not.
Oh, okay.
Got you.
And you'll feel it when it goes tight.
And you know it's right because the GT's logo is there.
Oh, wow.
That's hot.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
That's why I said you burn your hand first.
I thought you were just doing it because you didn't want to mark it up.
No, it is hot.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then to close this, right, this goes up and down with the wing up or down.
Okay.
You just got to sit it down.
Don't slam it.
Okay.
Rag in the center.
And then.
CPR.
And it locks.
If you don't lock it, will it tell you it's open?
Yes, it will.
Nice.
It will tell you.
When the wing is up like it is right now.
Yeah.
Not only does it have a slightly greater angle of attack, but we've also got the gurney flap deployed.
Right.
So the gurney flap on the top.
So this can lower here and be completely flat.
Yeah.
But when it's up like this, the top will trip the air, right, to actually spoil it and help the diffuser.
And then the underside of it changes shape.
The changing of the shape of the underside of the wing is where the downforce is created.
Not really from the top side.
Yeah.
Airplanes are sucked up in the sky.
Sure.
Race cars are sucked down.
Okay.
So do you ever get to see this in place, drop down?
Whenever the wing is down, that drops to be flipped up.
So the Ford GT has kind of this on the back.
It's just got a single wicker on the back.
It just stays.
Yeah.
This, we think we're the only people with the Ford GT to have a, everybody's got wings that go up and down.
And like this too.
Yeah.
Plus the gurney flap.
But this is the only car with a movable gurney.
Right.
And the underside of the wing.
You know, above 75 miles an hour.
It looks like an airplane wing.
It's got bolts and everything.
Oh yeah.
It is this whole panel that moves.
Right.
It is like a full flap on the back of a wing.
Sure.
So not only does it move like this and up and down.
Yeah.
This also moves here too.
Okay.
Yeah.
So, I mean, how many different positions are there?
Is it just infinite?
There's basically, no, there's basically three positions.
Okay.
There's down with the gurney flush.
Right.
In the lower downforce.
Right.
When the wing comes up, this is it.
This is it.
This is in its deployed position.
Oh, so it doesn't sit anywhere in the middle.
No.
Okay.
The only other position is a vertical airbrake.
Okay.
Anytime you're above 75 miles an hour, you stand on the brakes hard.
It comes up airbrake.
Okay.
And it really helps bring the center pressure back and settle the whole back of the car down.
Okay.
So when it's in this position, this never moves again.
No.
It only moves down if you're in a completely level position.
Exactly.
Okay.
Yeah.
Other things about the back of the car.
We've got the transmission and clutch cooler on this side.
All right.
And they're going to exhaust the hot air from the coolers.
Through the tail lights.
Out of the tail lights.
Right.
And then on the opposite side to balance the car, we've got the engine oil cooler.
Yeah.
So you've got trans and clutch, engine oil cooler on that side.
Okay.
Other things at the back of the car.
Flat, real nice diffuser underneath the back of the car as well.
All carbon there too.
Yeah.
Everything's.
It's a full flat floor car.
Sure.
Yeah.
With a nice diffuser and stripes.
Okay.
It's just a pull.
Like a standard pull latch.
Okay.
On the side.
But it's always hard to find if you've never been shown.
This is where you put the suitcases?
Yeah.
Totally.
This is where the engine is?
You've got to slide it to the left.
Here.
I'm going this angle.
Slide it left.
Does this get held open?
No.
Oh, wow.
Come down, come down.
No strut there.
You've got to do it yourself.
It's a.
Okay.
Some weight savings, bro.
Some weight savings.
Wow.
So underneath here, there's no extra luggage space, right?
I see.
You've got washer fluid.
Main hydraulic tank.
Main power distribution.
Brake fluid.
Okay.
Front anti-roll bar.
Uh-huh.
Power steering rack.
Okay.
Main valve block.
Main what?
Main valve block.
Valve block.
This valve block runs the whole hydraulics on the car.
Got you.
Runs the wings.
Runs the suspension.
Runs all the flappy doors in the front.
Are they all in one system?
There's one accumulator tank over here, and it pressurizes that system.
So you know what?
This is like the McLaren.
Yeah.
So if that goes.
Yeah.
That's it.
Everything goes.
Steering too?
Yeah.
Okay.
It goes back to being a manual steering.
Okay.
The battery is here to plug the vehicle on charge.
Okay.
It's got a large lithium ion battery.
Yep.
The battery lives underneath that headlight.
Right?
Okay.
Not easily replaceable?
Not easily gettable.
Right?
Okay.
To get to it, it's going to be wheel off, wheel arch liner out, and then you can see
it.
Okay.
I won't say you can get to it, but at least you can see it.
Okay.
So keep it plugged in.
So if we have to break into the vehicle because the battery's flat or something like that.
Okay.
It's very easy to do.
You're going to remove the key from the key fob.
Find in a hole for this key.
So if the battery's dead, you can't open the doors and you can't open the front compartment
to put the charger on.
You've got it.
Okay.
So now we have to manually open up the doors.
Okay.
Gotcha.
So you're going to use the key in this hole.
All we're trying to do, remember, is get to the front to open up the front.
Okay.
Click.
So obviously it's going to open up the engine cover first.
All right.
So you got the engine cover over.
Open.
So now the engine cover's open.
Yep.
Now we can get the driver's door open.
All right.
By pulling this.
You can't see it.
All you can do is feel it.
I can't see it.
You pull that and the driver's door's going to be open.
What are you feeling?
There's a plastic tag.
You're going to pull it straight back over.
Oh, yeah.
Pull it back.
So pull that back.
Yep.
Pull it back for me.
There you go.
That opens the door.
Step two.
Now we can pull the front hood latch, which is here.
All right.
And get the front open.
Okay.
Three steps.
Key, latch, door, front cover.
Just like when you're towing the car.
Three steps.
Okay.
So the final piece is going to be the big black file.
And inside the big black file is your factory build photographs.
Wow.
Okay.
So there's the big, there's the start of the car.
Just the tub and the roof painted.
And then what, they have like every stage, every 10 stages?
Just random pictures.
He takes a picture every night.
Okay.
And then the best ones he puts together.
Right.
We've got a spec sheet in the center.
Okay.
This is the VIN number that's going to stick on the ordering kit.
I have that over there.
Yep.
Right.
That's what that's for.
It's like a final, you get the car, you get the sticker to finish.
And then you've also got.
My window sticker.
Your window sticker too.
There it is.
Special order.
Shit.
Nice.
That's a big number right there.
$504,200.
Yeah.
Dude.
Keep breathing.
It's 40 miles to the gallon.
EcoBoost, right?
Yeah.
EcoBoost.
It's amazing.
You frame it.
Put a picture of the car on the background.
Yeah.
So we got triple color, tri-coat yellow, 5,000.
Gas guzzler tacks.
Six point harness anchors.
That's where you put the seat belts in.
Shadow blacks, 10,000 for stripes.
15,000 for exterior gloss carbon.
1,000 for red brake calipers.
No change for emissions.
How nice.
Then 15,000 for the wheels.
And then 750 to car cover.
So 50,250 in options.
Plus 3,700 to get here, which took six weeks.
Total transportation.
And there we go.
Wow.
All right.
So just took delivery of the GT at my house with the GT guy.
They flew him down.
We went over the car for about two and a half hours.
And now it's down at Hughes Detailing to get the full expel done
and coating for the car.
I was just going to drive it down from my house to Miami,
but I got overridden by all my friends saying,
there's no way you can put this car on the road without it being wrapped.
So got a tow truck, got it down here,
and we're going to load it up in the shop
and kind of go over what we're going to go and do
with the expel and the different areas and the coating.
And then it'll be here for about a week to get that done.
And then comes the launch barbecue at AutoNation for Miami.
