It's game day, times two, because we're at round three of the Link Engine Management
ProSpec Championship and round five of the Pro Championship. Let's talk about ProSpec.
Dmitry Brutski on top as far as qualifying goes, but Robert Thorne leads the pack. Now
in the Pro Championship, Kazuya Toguchi, our number one qualifier, he's never qualified that
high and he gets the number one spot. He's going to mess up the point system. Who's going to come
out on top? We'll find out here at the Gateway of the West Worldwide Technology Raceway.
Shoots to the side of Brutski in the BMW. Now Brutski, big angle there. You know, fairly calm,
all things considered. And now, right now, he's just got to be in his own head, be in his own
cockpit and dial it in. And he did just that. Really well done on outside zone two. Coming into
St. Louis, we had quite a bit of an uphill battle. We were down a crew guy and my wife was sick,
who is my spotter, and so she couldn't make it out. Luckily, a lot of the teams helped step in
and filled the role of the spotter for us. We've had, I think, about four people rotate in. Game
plan for next round, we're going to Utah, which is a pretty gnarly road course, which is very
similar to our home course of Thunder Hill. And I've had a lot of experience there and
I'm looking really forward to it. In the next battle, Chelsea Knope initiates. Definitely not
flirting with the dirt in there. Now into that second. Oh boy. No, he's not flirting with the
dirt. He's going into the grass. Landscape power tucked in. Adam Millsy slaps that back RTR
bumper. Gets out of shape a little bit into outside zone three. We got first place here
St. Louis round five Formula D. I still can't believe what's going on now, but we are looking
for this moment over five years. I'm so happy. Thanks to the team, all my sponsors. I will never
forget about today here at the St. Louis. Next round, Seattle. So we did a perfect event, which
is top qualifier and first place. We're going to keep it up. We are looking for another trophy
for next round. Thank you. My favorite thing about doing this job is that even after 20 years is that
we get to make people's dreams come true. Drivers that are looking to fulfill their desire to become
a professional driver. And the other thing is every day is not the same. And that's what we've
seen once again at this event where a driver who's been competing for five years finally gets on top
of the podium also qualifies number one. And that's Kazuya Taguchi. Amazing drive by him.
Super inspirational, emotional. And that's been the theme for these last two rounds.
On the flip side of that, we saw some of the big hitters go out early. Chris Forsberg with
a mechanical problem in his vehicle. Frederick Osbo in a close battle with his teammates. And
Chelsea Denofa also going out early as well, meaning that Matt Field and Turk are compressing
the championship right now, making it a much tighter battle as we go into Seattle, which is
our next round, one of our favorites. And it's going to be insane.
