Antonio Vivaldi: The Four Seasons (Complete)
Vivaldi's Four Seasons, performed on original instruments by the award winning Early Music Ensemble Voices of Music.
Of all of Vivaldi’s concertos, the Four Seasons are the most widely performed of his works today. The composer set the 4 concertos for 4 seasons, each has 3 movements, and each movement depicts a unique 'setting' or 'flavour' that season (so you get 3 flavours per season!)
One could feel the warm & welcoming Spring, the sunny and even burning Summer accompanied by an approaching thunder storm; the harvesting/celebrating Autumn, while the leaves quietly fall in the forrest, waiting for the chilling and harsh Winter to come.
And this video is one of the best version I can find online, a feast for the ears and eyes.
