How do you deal with rejection?
Well, I think there's many different ways
you can deal with rejection.
I think one of the ways that especially helps for myself
is to know that I put my best foot forward.
Yeah.
I did all I could do,
and as long as I make myself happy
and knowing that, okay, it's done, I can move on,
and if something comes from it, then it does,
and if not, then I'm totally okay with it,
and just knowing that I'm very proud of myself,
that I'm moving forward.
Yeah, and why are you okay with it?
I think that you can't get everything.
You can't get every audition,
and a lot of people do think that they can book every job,
but there's so many factors that you can't control,
like if you're too tall, about your hair, your eye color.
There's so many different factors
that we as actors, we just can't control it,
so as long as I realize that and know that,
like I said before, I'm proud of myself,
and I'll just keep pushing and pushing,
I know that there's the right role for me out there.
What a great viewpoint, so they didn't reject you,
they rejected, I mean, no,
because they're just looking for something specific.
How do you deal with rejection, Bianca?
I mean, I'm kind of in the same boat as Chiara,
I just, I focus on what I can control,
and I, like Chiara, we put our best foot forward
in the audition room, and I know that on the other side
of that wall, my mom is waiting for me, you know,
before we go into an audition,
I always have a pep talk with my mom,
we do, like, Team D'Ambrosio,
and just, that kind of helps me stay grounded,
and, you know, it's just,
dealing with rejection takes a long time,
and some people never deal with it,
I mean, that's just totally fine, just accept it.
And, you know, it's taken me a long time,
and I've had the support of my sister, my mom, and my dad,
and I think that's how I've kind of grown from rejection.
Redirection is just redirection.
Yes. There you go.
I love that.
Yeah.
