This is a special type of Chinese elm grown and shaped in Korea. The leaves should have brighter barbs as a distinguishing mark.
This is a type of elm also sold in Germany and should tolerate frost very well.
Welcome dear bonsai friends, I'm Peter and this is my Christmas gift. In this video I will unbox
these two beautiful almost barbifolia tisha. These are a special type of Chinese elms,
originally grown and shaped in Korea. The leaves should have brighter prongs
as a distinguishing mark. I will see it in spring. This type of elm is also sold here in Germany
and should be very good frost tarry. They look not so bad. Very nice bark and very special shape.
They are in a bonsai soil mixed from akadama and cumens. Unfortunately a few small branches are
broken off during transport. The condition is very good. If you spread the bark of the small branches
lightly with your fingernail, it's nice green underneath. I do not want to shave the trees
right now, but some of the small branches that have grown crosswise I should take away.
Enough talk, just lean back and enjoy the video for the next few minutes. I will be back with you.
