birthday weekend in my life in NYC 🎂✨🌃 + party theme reveal & new couch!

We're in town for my birthday weekend and we just got back from brunch. Long story short I have a new couch coming here because it was waiting in the warehouse and I don't know what I'm moving yet so we're bringing the new couch here. I'm so excited it's going to literally fit wall-to-wall. All the girls helped me move all my stuff over because the lamp and the plant I don't think are gonna work there so I'm so excited they're almost here. We have such a fun weekend ahead of us. They decided to come up for my birthday party. My friend Caitlin's on the way too. She landed. I'm so thankful. Delaney's a little hungover so I just put this charlotte tilbury mask. It feels so good. It literally is Halloween. Guys it looks so good. We've all just been watching it oohing and aahing. Like I'm so excited. I think we all need to sit on it at the exact same time. Are you guys ready? Ready. I'm so happy. It's so comfy. Oh my gosh. This is so illegal. I feel like I'm not allowed to lay like this. This is what dreams are made of. This is what we've been wanting to do all day. Gals on the couch. You heard it here first. Definitely an upgrade from the air mattress. Stay there. So what's the review girls? Ten out of ten. I can't wait to like curl up with my computer on a rainy day. It definitely looks really big in this apartment but it's gonna look so good in the next place. But I'm so happy I have it now anyways. Yay. Birthday weekend commences. So much is happening in here right now. They're going through my stuff. Alright guys. We've sat on the couch. We've gone through my clothes I'm giving away. We are now gonna stop by one of my favorite coffee shops, Amore Cafe. And then I booked like a dry bar party because we had to go get dry bar. How many of you have not gotten dry bar blows before? Raise your hand. Oh my gosh. Three girlies. This is so exciting. Getting blows for the weekend. We're going to dry bar. They have people waiting for us. You can do this too. It's like you pay the same but like if you call ahead they'll make sure they have like the same amount of stylists as the people you are so that we can all get our hair done at the same time. And Kaitlyn just flew in. One of my best friends from high school. You guys know Kaitlyn. She landed. She's actually meeting us at dry bar. So we're gonna have a time. Let's get the weekend started. The other girls I don't know if I already said this they checked into a hotel because there was just too many of us to stay here. So the four girls are here and then Kaitlyn's staying here with me. This dress is from Meshki. I'm obsessed. I love it so much. It has it all in the back as well. It's extra for like what we're doing tonight but I just don't care you know. And then these shoes I just didn't have any other shoes to wear. I just I don't know. I just needed some height. So these are from Steve Madden. Look at Kaitlyn's outfit. I'm obsessed. The black and white trim and your blowout is giving Matilda girth. I already told you this. It's like so. It makes me want to get more layers. I love it. We're about to take some mirror pics. But tonight wow we have a voitenori actually. Oh yeah. We're going to Blonde which is like a lounge that turns into a club at 11 Howard. It's a hotel in Soho. And but we're like going there when it's like lounge. You just like have some pre-dinner drinks and maybe get some photos whatever. Then from there we're going to a big dinner at Alice in West Village. I'm so excited. It's going to be us and then our friends Mary Stephen and Morgan. And then my friends Seb and Kelly and Daly. So mostly like my school friends. And then Kelly's coming too. She can't come to my party tomorrow. I'm so sad. But she's coming to dinner. So that's good. So yeah I'm excited for the night. Girls night, best night. Oh and that's not even it. Then after dinner we are going to karaoke city. I got a private karaoke room. We'll see like where the night takes us and if that's the vibe. But that's where our trajectory is now. So I'm excited. Good morning everybody. I've like barely sat on my couch since I've gotten it. It's Saturday morning. Party tonight. We are going to go to the Grey Dog. I really like that place. It's just like safe. I didn't make reservations for us because I didn't know what our morning was going to be like. We talked about going to the George Bar to watch the Georgia game. But I think that's not what we're doing anymore. So we're going to go meet up with everyone. And I think Ryan too at the Grey Dog in West Village to get some breakfast. And then just see where the day takes us. Some girls want to get zap bracelets. So might do that. I was like realizing I was going to meet my high school friends. I was going to meet my college friends. Meet my influencer friends. Meet my New York friends. Meet my like camp friends that are coming. It's like all over the place. I'm like so excited. But I was like I need to like chill for a little. So I sent them on their way. Came back. And here's Caitlin. And I just got a flower delivery in there from Brooke. They're so pretty. The note says happy early birthday. Can't wait to party it up tonight and take all the fireball shots. Guys, this is the cake that Kelly got us last night. I literally took a bite of it when we got home. And I, it's, what time is it? It's 2.30. I have hair and makeup people coming at 4.30. So I have two hours to like shower, do an eye mask, sit on my couch. I haven't really had time to enjoy my couch. So I'm really looking forward to that. And I'm just so excited for tonight. We were like doing predictions, like what we think people are going to wear. I don't really know. Because it sounds like everyone kind of interpreted my theme differently. So I'm excited to see what people wear. Guys, I just cleaned my kitchen. The vibes are right. I just took a body shower. I'm going to do a face mask. I have some in the fridge. So it feels nice. Oh, I forgot I have these. I actually didn't stay on really well. I think I'm going to do hydration by Royale. I'm going to do this. And I'm also going to be crazy and put on eye patches under it. Hopefully it all stays intact. It's spa time. The vibes right now. I was like, I can't wait to just sit on my couch. I still haven't sat on my couch yet. But I needed to clean. I wanted to body shower. I wanted to make sure my apartment was good so that when everyone gets here, it's good. Okay, step one, eye masks. Step two is complete. I look crazy. Guys, Caitlin just left. She went to go meet up with some friends from college that are in town. My friends, like I said, are up in Times Square. Brian has a friend in town that he went to go say hi to. Everything is just right because Danielle gets alone time. I have just tried to have more boundaries with myself of like, I know tonight's just going to be a lot, so I want to recharge. I'm so happy. I'm so content. I'm going to watch a little bit of the partner track. I've got my chill, low-fee beats playing. I'm so content. I'm so thankful for all the people in my life. I'm excited about this couch. How I'm that basic girl that like moved here and plays Empire State of Mind when she lands. Like Frank Sinatra starts spreading the news. Kind of gal. So when I was thinking of themes, I don't know. I was like walking down the street and I saw an I Heart New York shirt store. And I was like, that is so me. I've never seen anyone else do like a New York theme birthday party. And I'm just so excited because I feel like people could go so many different routes. Like so I went this route. I went and bought a kid's tee. I Heart New York shirt and cropped it. So it's like a fitted tee. And I went to New York Embroidery Studio, suggested by Stylist Check. And they embroidered this. Or not embroidered. I guess they like bedazzled it with these beautiful rhinestones. I'm so excited to show you guys the full fit. So I'm going like I Heart New York route. I'm kind of, I know like Y2K is like on its way out. But I'm doing like that vibe. So I want to do like Y2K hair. Makeup. Some sort of smokey something. Maybe a little sparkle. But I was like, okay, it's perfect. Like guys could wear like a Yankee jersey if they want. New York sports. Like someone could dress up as a taxi cab. Like I'm curious to see how creative people get. I know like a lot of people are running I Heart New York stuff. I heard rumblings of someone dressing like a Staten Island fairy. Wearing an orange t-shirt. What else? Statue of Liberty. Might see one of those around tonight. I'm just so excited to have all my favorite people in the same room. Celebrating New York City. But they were not going to be as comfortable. And just looking out for future Dani. You know? And then I also actually bought this purse from Zara yesterday too. It's so cute. It's not like, I don't know if I'm going to put my purse down or hold it. But either way, it's a good accessory. And I feel like it will be fun for fall too. It's like an all black look.
