Sponge city: China’s failure journey to make flood become a friend

This is Kongjian Yu, an architect well-known for inventing the "Sponge City" concept. He is currently the dean of the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at Peking University. His innovative concept regarding sponge cities has been adopted by the CCP, especially for flood management. Building sponge cities has now become a national movement in China.
