“上海七大歌星”之一 “銀嗓子”姚莉于2019年7月19日與睡夢中離世，享年九十七歲。姚莉老師對中國流行樂壇作出過巨大貢獻，她的代表作《玫瑰玫瑰我愛你》曾打進美國Billboard流行榜第3位，成為首位打入美國音樂流行榜的華人歌星。梅楣與她六位優秀的學生方詩源、韓波、徐卉淇、朱師嚴、陳哲聖和常天祥同學以無伴奏，阿卡貝拉的演唱方式演譯這首姚莉老師的代表作。和聲編曲“青青合唱團”的前團長周維均老師。

Miss Yaoli, who was one of the “Seven Great Singers of Shanghai” and was dubbed “Silver Tongue”, passed away in her sleep on July 19, 2019. She was 97 years old. Miss Yao contributed greatly to the Chinese music field in her life. “Rose Rose I love you” is one of her signature master piece, which took the third place on the American Music Billboard. She became the first Chinese singer to be recognized by the American Popular Music culture. In this performance, Meimei and six of her top students Shi Yuan, Han Bo, Xu Qiqi, Zhu Shiyan, Chen Zhesheng, and Chang Tianxiang will sing this song in a Capella style. Harmony arrangement was done by former director of the Youth Choir, Mr. Zhou Weijun.
