Markam County - Rawu Markam County is 3880 meters above sea level. After leaving Mangkang, we started climbing The altitude along the way to Nu Jiang valley is above 4,000 meters There is a section of asphalt road after we left Zogang County Suddenly a vibrant barley field pops up We couldn’t help but admire the wonder of creation and the strength of life This section is known as the "72 Nu Jiang Turns" The altitude drops all the way to 2740 meters Donkeys Rawu - Gongbo'Gyamda A small town not far from Rawu Waiting in line to cross Tong Mai Bridge The speed limit on the bridge was 5 km/h. Only one vehicle was allowed to pass at a time This is how dad backs up After crossing the bridge, there is the 14-kilometer-long "Tongmai Natural Barrier" It was once known as the most dangerous road in the world On one side is the Palong Zangbu River under the cliff On the other side is a mountain with rockfalls and landslides at any time Some say that once you are on the road to Tibet it all depends on whether you’ve done good deeds or not.
