It's great for long hair (those big barrels make it go a lot faster than a smaller waver), and if you have super curly hair- this will help straighten the smaller curls and give you the bigger waves in a one step process. I have naturally curly hair and I do this often with a curling iron. You'll get more texture but it will definitely give you a different style!
