Top Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai’s recent accusations towards a former Chinese vice premier of sexual assault caused international outrage. She is one of the countless women in China who are faced with harassment, violence and belittlement every day and many of the accused are men of political seniority. China has started to crackdown on the MeToo movement, especially after the case of Peng Shuai.
