The camera's small form factor Makes it perfect for my EDC, everyday carry I have read comments where people talk about How you can't pass these digital cameras on to your children The way you would with a mechanical M6 But I'll keep this M11 for as many years as it serves me Another thing that I've heard is the freezing issues That plague the M11 My M11 monochrome hasn't had those kind of hiccups And I hope to keep it that way But I will add, and this is a noteworthy point Leica cameras hold their value More than any other camera in the world When I was in the market and searching and looking I saw five-year-old M10s holding their value What's a five-year-old flagship Sony body cost now? This value retention allows the owner of a Leica To pay the difference for an upgrade Or simply sell it and get most of their money back The one thing I've noticed is that Once you're in the Leica ecosystem It's easier to upgrade to the next model Now, I'm not advising anyone to go for broke And buy this camera That's not what I'm saying This camera works for me Voluntary discomfort is the main reason I got the Leica M11 monochrome Its elegance and simplicity Strip away the easiness In which I use other cameras I don't know if any of you ever felt this way But with other cameras I started to feel like a robot No thought, point, shoot The M makes me uncomfortable In the best sense of the word I've got to figure my way through every frame Hence not feeling like a robot I need to struggle Because that's the best way to grow This is my last camera Because it's my new summit I feel like I'm learning photography all over again with it And that's refreshing I'll keep you guys posted on my progress But until my next video Let's keep creating
