Greetings,
[music]
friends. This is Andriy, the Engineer Bruns channel. I have
n't been in touch for a long time and today
I want to tell you how we're doing. I must
warn you right away that, unfortunately, there
will be very little good news today.
First of all, I want to thank all the
subscribers, everyone who, despite the
long silence on the channel, is worried
about us, waiting for some news or new
videos. And of course, a special thank you to all those
who continue to support us
financially. The channel has been inactive for almost
three years, and therefore it is very valuable for us that
you remember us and do not forget us.
First, let me explain why I disappeared. Over the
past few years, my
health has deteriorated significantly and a few
weeks ago I was forced to undergo
surgery. There is some irony in this, because
this channel was born more than 10 years
ago, just after my first
ulcer surgery. Then, during rehabilitation,
my hobbies became YouTube and
metalworking. And now again, the
opportunity to film often appeared only
after surgery. Now the
doctors have forbidden me from any physical
activity, and I have the opportunity to
contact you. And now for
the most difficult part. Today, all my friends who don't
have a deferment or reservation are already
fighting at the front. and one of my
closest friends, a person who took an
active part in the life of our channel,
unfortunately, officially he is now considered
missing, but according to information from
his brothers, the
probability that he died is 99%.
I will deliberately not mention his
name now, because, as experience shows, the
Russians will use it to bully
his family and his children. But those who have been
following the channel closely and for a long time will
guess who it is. It's clear that
right now I won't be able to make
any new entertaining videos for you. Now
about my situation. Life is pretty tough for us right now
, but I'm in the rear, not at
the front. I still have a deferral from
mobilization due to my daughter's disability,
but I understand that
the situation could change at any moment and I am
preparing for it as much as I can. Our life here is
also part of the war. Our city is
attacked by Russian drones on
average once a week. Although sometimes there
are periods when this happens
every night. I had the surgery in Kyiv, and
my first night in the hospital ward was during a
massive attack on August 27. That
night, the Russians killed 25 civilians.
Four of them were children and more than 60 were
injured. It was a scary night in
the hospital, which is located quite close
to the scene of the tragedy. And the most terrible thing is
that there are already quite a few cities in Ukraine
for which such losses are already a
daily reality. For those who live
outside of Ukraine, I would like to tell
a short story. There is one
wonderful Christmas tradition in the world called
Secret Santa. This is when children anonymously
give gifts to other children. My
daughter attends a specialized
school for children with serious
health problems. And for Christmas they received
gifts from children from Germany. It was
such an incredible display of human warmth
and kindness. There were toys there that
showed that they were the child's favorite thing,
which she had sincerely shared. And
these children also received a gift from Russia. Here is
part of it.
This is a fragment of a Shaheed's wing.
These are our realities today. And
finally.
It's impossible to plan anything in advance right now.
I don't know if we'll be lucky enough to survive.
I don't know how much longer our country can hold out
, but I do know that I will do
everything in my power to save those who have
n't yet been killed by the Russians.
Of course, I dream of making at least
a few more puzzles. I have a lot of
ideas, and the process of designing and creating
is the best way for me to
escape from everyday reality.
If fate gives me time and opportunity,
perhaps I will still have time to create
something interesting for you. Although now the workload
is such that working 8 hours a
day is already very good. Before the
operation began, a 14-hour workday
was already the norm. I sincerely thank everyone who
remembers us. And sorry for such
difficult news. As long as we are alive, the struggle
continues. Glory to Ukraine! Yeah.
