Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe narrator visits Sin City Social in Liverpool to attempt the \"Seven Deadly Sins Challenge,\" a massive food platter. Despite a reduced time limit of 45 minutes, he successfully consumes all seven items, earning the meal for free. He praises the quality of the food, particularly the burgers, and concludes the visit by ordering additional items.
All right, I have returned to England, albeit briefly, and today we're in Liverpool, mate.
Home of the Beatles, Stephen Graham, Skiddy and their pacemakers.
What? And this is what we're having a go at today.
Still going. You get the idea. It's a lot of food. Skiddy and their mates.
Interesting glass antechamber through which you arrive into the restaurant.
Hi, how's it going? Nice to meet you, mate. I love the glass bit. It's sort of half reminiscent
of a prison cell, just sort of like a fancy prison cell with bulletproof glass,
the like of which you might put a, you know, like a Hannibal Lecter or an otherwise egregious
offender in. The category, you know, the top, the most dangerous people. Shut up, Adam.
Oh, look at this. Do you remember this, Josh? Remember you thought I was doing the Randy
Santel impression and I was actually doing the Pulp Fiction thing? You didn't know what it was.
Big kahuna burger. That is a tasty burger. Name the film? I thought it was Randy Santel.
This is a tasty burger. Have you actually watched Pulp Fiction since then?
Yeah, do you enjoy it? 10 out of 10 film. You've got to say that now because Quentin Tarantino's
kind of on the warpath, isn't he? Digging people out, Paul Dano. We're probably not quite on his
radar just yet, but you are heavily disliked, so who knows?
The whole thing is Pulp Fiction themed. They have a lot of Pulp Fiction knickknacks on the walls
and whatnot. I have to say the artwork here is incredible. It's by a guy called Nicholas Murals.
Competing injured today. That's a severe injury for a not so competitive eater. Do you want to
know how I did that? Yeah. Bit my finger. No, I'm joking. It was actually opening a bottle of mead.
You believe it? Not sure about this one, you know. Nobody's done it yet, so I think I'll
take the jacket off in the interest of meaning business. Ooh, look at this. They've got lots
of promotional material for it. I like it. A bit of enthusiasm, that's what you want. One fat mac,
one buffalo butch, equally ambiguous, Korean barbecue chicken tenders, popo loaded fries,
one giant gooey mozzarella stick, buttery buffalo chicken wings, that's a tongue twister,
and one deluxe shake. I think if they were staying on brand, they would call it a $5 milkshake,
but what's that? It's £3.50. Probably a bit cheap, doesn't it? Inflation.
It'd be more like a $10 milkshake now. Well, that would be slightly less on brand.
Free if you can eat it, £49.95 if you can't. How's it going, man? Can I just order this thing?
Taking the challenge? Yeah, I'm going to try my best. Yeah, so with the challenge,
you get a deluxe milkshake. Right. It's either Oreo or Biscoff. I think I've got to go with Biscoff.
Goodness, mate. More chips. All right, so we're at a place called Sin City Social,
which is in Liverpool, and we're taking on the Seven Deadly Sins Challenge,
which is an eating challenge comprised of seven independent ingredients in fairly large quantity.
It says on the menu you get 60 minutes, but apparently the time limit has been reduced
in order to make it slightly harder because it's now 45 minutes.
I wondered about the extra fries, you know. Is that for my benefit?
If you can do it, you get the £49.95 meal for free. Yeah? All right. I'm ready.
Let's get it. What shall I start with? Let's go with a beef burger. What's this been called?
So that's the Fat Mac, I believe. The Fat Mac. You're probably not allowed to say that these
days. It's not very PC. Sort of like a Big Mac. Not sure if that's the idea or not.
That is really good. It's like a Big Mac, just infinitely better. This is really good.
I should say, that is a tasty burger. You're right, that does sound more like Randy Santel
than Samuel L Jackson. I thought so. One burger down, on to the chicken burger.
What's this one called? That's the Buffalo Butch. That looks good, that.
Look at that. That is, I mean, that is almost equally fat. Josh, I think this might be the
best looking challenge he's ever done. Like everything on that plate looks absolutely real.
It's very aesthetically pleasing. I will say that. Oh, it's a lot spicy. Mike,
you didn't tell me this one was spicy. I need some floor water. Fortunately, the pots of fries
here sort of obscure the glass of water, which will inevitably get quite greasy. Oh, that was spicy.
Come on. Maintain composure. All right. Well, next, the wings. I love chicken wings.
Oh, that umbrella very nicely. I was literally almost for that. I wonder why it used to be an
hour and it is now 45 minutes, despite the fact that actually nobody has yet completed it.
I think we call that in the industry, Babe Needs Food Tax.
You cynic. Wings are juicy. How many wings you get on this thing?
It doesn't save. It just serves. Buttery buffalo chicken wings.
Oh, with no number. No number. Just 10 wings. I feel like it's been about 10 already.
What do you call a prankster chicken? What do you call a prankster chicken?
A practical Yorker. I mean, I don't think you can find a new low. That's the worst one yet.
You think? By a mile.
You all right? Nice to meet you, man. Oh, thank you. Thanks. I was going to say,
you really don't want to shake my hand. Can you take the bones from me, please? Of course,
they're meat. That wasn't bad. That wasn't bad. Well, next, I'm sort of torn between doing the
fried cheese now so I can get the pork. You've got topic. I don't want to wait too long. I think
that's going to keep. Let me do the chicken tenders. They are tender. You think the sauce
is supposed to go with the chicken tenders? I think the sauce is a bit of an affair in there,
but I've had a gulp of like ranch or blue cheese. Blue cheese? I'm with you there.
Maybe it's all the mozzarella stick thing. You know what? It's not just the Steve Buscemi face,
is it? Steve Buscemi. Who's ready for the cheese pull? Drum roll. I realize you're
both operating cameras, but can somebody do a drum roll? Moment of truth. What do we reckon?
You know what? Four out of 10. I think had I done that earlier on, it would have been
spectacular. Let's test out Josh Dune's theory, my spilling salsa everywhere. See if it goes with
the mozzarella stick. I think you were right. The problem is I've used it all up on the chicken
wings now or chicken fillets, whichever it was. How am I doing for time? 20 minutes in there.
20 minutes? You think the extra fries are necessary? I think I could do with some sauce
for these, you know? Or should I dip them in the shake? Popo loaded fries? Popo? Popo. The
mayonnaise is incredible. Is it bacon mayonnaise? It's sort of like a, it tastes like a sweet
Cajun bacon infused mayonnaise. I think I would have liked a little bit more of that sauce.
Let's do it. Let's go in there. It works. Combined with the milkshake, the sweet and salty,
my type of jam. Let's see to this milkshake. I've done that thing again where there's mandatory
liquid and for some reason I drank more liquid, which is not mandatory. How long have I got, Mike?
17 and a half minutes left. Almost there. Mike's back. 14 minutes left. All right,
this has been Mixed Food and that was Sin City Social's 7 Deadly Sins Challenge.
And I'm surprised I remembered that. Do you have a dessert menu? Yeah. Look at that. Perfect
timing. It was so delicious. Can I be a bit cheeky and not only order the banoffee pie,
but also another one of those Fat Mac burgers? Fat Mac. I'll bring it over. Thank you very much,
Mike. Stick another Fat Mac on for us. He's gone mental. We don't have enough beef.
I've actually ordered two technically, so I got the Pig Mac because I want to try it again
just to make sure that it is as good as I thought it was. And then I got the Popo Bacon and Jam
Burger, which the chef recommended it, so I couldn't really say no. I'll bring the rest.
Thank you very much. Thank you. I mean, I'm not... I'll leave the fries to you.
Thank you very much. That answers the question, do the cameramen get to eat?
I get that all the time. Normally they're well-fed breakfast, brunch, lunch,
evening meal. I admittedly did not need to order any more food, but this one was incredible.
This might sound dramatic, but I think that might be the best burger I've eaten
in the last two years. I'm going to try the Life Changer Burger.
It's pretty good. I still prefer the Fat Mac. This is what I'm really interested in,
the Banoffee Pie. I reckon it's going to be good. A bit of crunch on the base.
Oh, it's like an ice creamy pie. I'm going to enjoy this food now. I would encourage you to
do the same. You've left your chips. You've not eaten your chips. You can't be doing that if
you're my cameraman. That's unacceptable behaviour. Eat the chip, eat the chip.
I did not actually realise, but Josh A, Josh 1, Josh Prime informed me that I had a sort of
anthropomorphic condom packet on my hoodie today. I didn't even realise it when I bought it, but it
is a Johnny with arms and legs.
