Cetatea Rasnov (Citadel) Incredible Fortress in Transylvania

The Cetatea Rasnov (Citadel / Fortress) is an incredible defensive strongpoint, high on the hill over Rasnov town, in the heart of Transylvania.
The town of Rasnov is about 15km or 25 minutes drive from the medieval city of Brasov and equally the same distance from the famous town of Bran.

Getting to Rasnov is pretty straightforward from Brasov either by Train, bus or taxi. The costs for this are mentioned in the video.

Whilst the INSIDE of the Cetatea Rasnov has recently closed for 3 years renovations (March 2020) you can still walk around the outside grounds and see the stunning views, and that makes it still worth a visit.
