She once worked together with one of Yu's secondary souls, who served as the Eastern Dragon King and resided in the Indian Ocean.
During the Age of Exploration in the 1540s, the Dragon Kings of the East and the West joined forces to protect ships and ensure their safe passage across the seas.
The oceans during the Age of Exploration were far from peaceful. Terrifying sea monsters lurked beneath the waves.
Before setting sail, captains and sailors would pray to the Dragon Clan for protection, hoping to survive any encounter with sea monsters and return safely.
Many ships also displayed finely crafted statues of Poseidon on their prows as symbols of protection and safe voyages. Incidentally, Poseidon is the heavenly deity who oversees the Western Dragon Clan.
Sea monsters attacking ships was not unusual in those days. Many people who prayed to the Dragon Clan for a safe voyage were able to survive dangerous encounters and return home safely under the Dragon Clan's protection.
