A major security scare near the White House after a Venezuelan man was arrested over an alleged threat to assassinate US President Donald Trump. Authorities recovered three firearms, including an AR-15-style rifle, a Mac-10 and a Glock 43X, along with dozens of rounds of ammunition. The suspect, identified as Ronny Yordrix Guanipa Chrinos, allegedly told officers that voices instructed him to travel to Washington and kill Trump. The Secret Service has praised officers for preventing potential harm as the arrest raises fresh questions about presidential security, gun threats and immigration enforcement in the United States.
