President Donald Trump signed two separate executive orders on Thursday. The first expands the definitions of people who are ineligible for birthright citizenship in the United States; the second executive order bans birth tourism. Trump also praised Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, saying he is doing well with Iran while also pushing back on reports of low U.S. munitions.

The United States is cracking down on international scam compounds that target Americans—many of them concentrated in Southeast Asia. The State Department says Chinese-linked criminal organizations are the main force behind these operations. FBI Director Kash Patel says coordinated strikes have freed thousands of trafficked workers and recovered billions stolen from Americans.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee votes to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress. Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment over 100 times during testimony last week.
