Michigan, Kansas, Missouri, Virginia, and Washington are holding their primaries today. Many are watching battleground state Michigan, as today’s results could signal what to expect come the mid-term elections in November.

Nineteen individuals were charged in an alleged $4 million in medicaid fraud schemes in Pennsylvania. Authorities say the schemes are part of a nationwide epidemic of Medicaid fraud that has exploded since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Medicaid is on the table at today’s Senate Budget hearing. Senators and witnesses point to what they think is causing fraud in the program and ways to stop it.
