President Donald Trump arrived at the G7 summit in Évian, France, just after announcing the completion of a historic deal between the United States and Iran.

Major stock indexes and bond prices rallied while oil futures tumbled on Monday following a preliminary peace deal between the United States and Iran.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he offered to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G7 summit in an effort to end the war, but he said the Kremlin refused to engage. Meanwhile, Zelenskyy is surveying the damage after a new wave of Russian strikes hit Kyiv, killing at least 11 people and damaging a historic monastery.
