What you do is a ball, and big dreams, and you can play.
Yes, like Alfonso Davis.
Yeah, born in a refugee camp.
First leading civil war in Liberia.
He came to Canada to make a better life.
So much like all of us, right? Yeah.
And 17 years later, Alfonso scored Canada's first ever Canada's World Cup goal.
Alfonso and I, they are Canada's story.
They are Toronto's story.
And a city of people from all over the world who've had terrible times.
They came here, start all over again, and it is a city built by immigrants.
One of the most diverse cities in the world.
Here in Toronto, we build bridges, we don't burn them.
Where we embrace, we do not divide.
Here in Toronto, as communities across the city, we come to celebrate who we are.
And celebrate this incredible city.
And that is the spirit that will shine through during these World Cup games.
Right? Yeah.
We all belong.
We all can play.
All can dream.
And all can celebrate.
And all are welcome.
Yes.
For the first live performance of the day,
we have a dance company that right here, found by immigrants in Toronto.
And that, yeah, yes, yes, yes.
They are, uh, it's a celebratory energy of the Mariachi Band.
Yeah.
They're on stage, and the Toros, they'll, uh, wait, wait, wait, wait.
All my Spanish friends can tell me when I'm saying it right, okay?
Let me make sure we do this properly.
Then the Toros, denore!
Yeah, not bad, all right.
And join my ballet for Morocco, Piro, Mexico!
Yeah!
Thank you so much, have a great time, everybody.
No time!

In the city's loudest venue.
Don't miss a minute of the action with Toronto FC this season.
This is for my people.
So how are we all ready for the game today?
Who's rooting for Mexico?
South Africans, I think you're outnumbered here today.
So this part, guys, I want you all to sing this with me, alright?
Just go like this.
So we're here representing Canada.
But Canada also represents the world, right?
Every nation is here.
Every culture is here.
So we gotta show the world where we're made from.
So this part is the easy part.
I want everybody who's able to, give me a clap.
The next part is also easy.
It's just a little bit harder. It goes like this.
Ready? Y'all ready?
Can you try that with me, Toronto?
I know you're shocked, but you can...
Six players from the Canadian National Team.
So we gotta represent our culture, we gotta represent our cities.
And I'll say this.
My coach saw his way.
My kids play at training.
When I was a little guy, I was on an all-star team in Brampton.
And we'd go to tournaments, we'd whoop everybody's ass.
You know what I mean?
So we'd whoop everybody's feet, alright?
But what made us such a special team is what brought us together as a community.
And we didn't just listen to music on a speaker like that.
We were singing and chanting.
Singing this song.
A lot of people are ready for this.
Toronto, you ready for this?
So my team will come out and chant this song.
Yo, I got a friend coming out here.
I asked her, what's her name?
She said, Guantanamera.
Remind me of my homeland.
My uncle used to say, let it go 45.
But there used to be a line to it.
From a young girl, to a grown woman.
Like, I'm very done.
Cause she's six, but you're my first one.
And if you go, you move like I'm trying to build a vlog.
Like a butterfly.
Like there's hope in the blood.
Life on the mainland.
Spacing.
Deliver charity.
We'll be right here.
Right now.
I'm ready for your thoughts.
I'm ready for your tears.
Put your flags in the air.
Rock with me.
Canada.
Very cold in here.
Don't lie to me.
Mexico and Toronto.
Don't lie to me.
Where's Mexico at?
Where's Mexico?
Where's Mexico at?
Where's Mexico?
Where's Mexico at?
Where's Mexico?
Where's Mexico at?
Where's Mexico?
Where's Mexico at?
Where's Toronto at?
Where's Canada at?
Hi.
So I sent this song to Mike Biff and I said I want to make an anthem for the World Cup.
Like I said, I live and breathe this game.
Can I say that I got you?
I got you.
He calls me that anytime he over there, so I take that.
We got one more song for y'all.
So watch y'all sing with us, alright?
This song is very easy.
So we're going to be live.
Watch y'all.
Greetings from the International Space Station.

sharing one planet, one game, and one unforgettable experience.
NASA is proud to be part of that global team, exploring for the benefit of everyone back home.
From orbit, we'll be watching, cheering, and celebrating with you.
Toronto, the world is ready.
Let the games begin!
Can you hear me out there?
...special about the energy in the city right now.
Experiencing the FIFA World Cup 2020 together,
we're going to be at FIFA World Cup Toronto.
Manos arriba.
Manos, manos, manos.
With your friends today.
You came with your friends today.
Let me see them.
Point them out.
Do we have any that comes from out of town?
Anybody from out of town?
Make some noise, let me hear you.
Which team is winning today?
Who's winning today?
This is quite a game.
