Erhu Narrative Piece:Salvation of the World’s Sentient Beings

在迫害中,妻子因一位尚存正義的公安局長保護而獲釋;

**Erhu Narrative Piece
Salvation of the World’s Sentient Beings**
Origin of the Composition
Salvation of the World’s Sentient Beings is an erhu narrative piece composed from the creator’s own life experience. It is not a fictional legend, but a true history that is still unfolding. Here, music is more than emotional expression or entertainment; it serves as a means of recording history and bearing witness to truth.
The protagonists of the story are a couple who were forced to separate shortly after their marriage. To this day, they have been unable to see each other for nearly twenty years. Such a fate is not an isolated case in China, but a reality borne by countless families.

Theme I|The Spreading of the Great Law
(Light, purity, solemnity)
In the early morning of 1992, in a city in China, a young woman saw many people quietly practicing exercises in a park. Their movements were gentle and relaxed, their expressions calm and peaceful. In that moment, she felt an unprecedented sense of beauty and inner serenity.
She learned that this was the widespread transmission of Falun Dafa in China. After beginning the practice, her life underwent a profound transformation, guiding her onto a path of spiritual cultivation and return to one’s true nature.
It was also during group practice in the park that she met the man who would become her husband. Sharing the same values, they cultivated together, growing from acquaintance to understanding, and from love to commitment. In July 1999, they legally registered their marriage, full of hope for the future.
In this section, the music unfolds like the first light of dawn—warm, gentle, and tranquil.

Theme II|Separation After the Wedding
(Sudden change, rupture, grief)
In 1999, the Chinese Communist Party launched a nationwide persecution of Falun Gong. Within a system that embraces atheism and does not tolerate faith, countless kind and upright people were suddenly detained and imprisoned.
The newly married couple was not spared. For upholding their beliefs and refusing to abandon their conscience, they were abducted and detained one after the other.
During the persecution, the wife was released due to the protection of a police chief who still upheld a sense of justice, while the husband was forcibly taken away.
She returned alone to their newly prepared home—
the red wedding candles had not yet cooled, yet her husband was already gone.
A wedding followed immediately by separation, a pain beyond words.
Late at night, gazing at the star-filled sky, she made a vow through tears:
no matter life or death, she would not abandon her original faith;
no matter how heaven and earth might be overturned, she would walk the path of truth.
At the moment this vow was made, thunder shook the night sky.
She understood that this was a choice that would resonate through heaven and earth.

Theme III|The Confrontation Between Good and Evil
(Weight, resolve, resistance)
In order to rescue her husband, she hired a righteous lawyer
to present a not-guilty defense for Falun Gong—
the first public not-

Salvation is not about changing others, but about awakening the human heart; it is not a myth or legend, but the perseverance of ordinary people who uphold kindness and responsibility amid turbulent times. This is an erhu narrative piece performed for all sentient beings, and a profound response to heaven and earth, to life, and to responsibility.
