
Judge Lifts Block on Trump's Federal Buyout Plan; Tulsi Gabbard Sworn in as Intelligence Director
A federal judge has lifted the block on President Donald Trump's federal buyout program. Federal workers will now be allowed to take the deal, with the Trump administration assuring them their salaries would be paid until October. The White House says more than 70,000 federal workers have taken the buyout.

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Wednesday that the Justice Department is suing the state of New York over its so-called “sanctuary city laws,” which prevents law enforcement from arresting illegal immigrants. The DOJ has named several people included in the lawsuit, such as New York Governor Kathy Hochul, Attorney General Letitia James, and DMV Commissioner Mark Schroeder. The Justice Department has filed a similar lawsuit against the state of Illinois for similar “sanctuary laws.”
