Wires with a diameter of 0.8 - 1mm ( 20 gauge - 18 gauge ) can be used. 20 - 40cm ( 8 - 16 inch) long, depending on the size of the ring and the texture you want to make.

Different sizes and distances between twists will give different patterns.
You can do the same with small separate twists for a 4-leaf clover ring, or stacked twists for a celtic style ring.
You can make the ring fixed or adjustable

* In the video I use :
19 gauge ( wire diameter 0.9mm ) : 30cm( 12 inch)

* When I started with this idea, I thought it was very simple, but I had to try more than 10 times to find the right way making, wire size and length suitable for me, to come up with a pattern that makes me satisfied.
   So don't be discouraged if you don't succeed on the first try, because for each person the parameters may be different.
